When the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their departure from royal duties and left the UK, it signified a growing tension between them and the royal family.

When Prince Harry and his wife Meghan gave a controversial interview accusing the royal family of mistreating them, things turned sour. It kick-started a series of bad blood between them and the other royals.

The newborn, also seventh in line to the throne, was delivered at 05:26 BST on a Monday morning. Father Prince Harry was present at his birth, and afterward, he expressed his joy at being able to witness the birth of his first child.

The Duke of Sussex revealed that Archie's birth was the first he ever witnessed, and it was incredible. He was also very proud of his wife and revealed that being a father is joyful, and their baby is absolutely to die for.

Witnessing childbirth is the most fantastic experience he could have imagined, and Harry praised mothers because what they do is beyond comprehension.

Two days after his birth Prince Harry and Meghan went in front of the cameras to introduce their baby to the world. They opted not to add a title to his name, and even though it had only been two days since his birth, the couple was thrilled to be holding their first child.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their second child, daughter, Lilibet "Lili" Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, on June 4, 2021.

Unlike her older brother Archie, Lilibet was born in California, US, after Prince Harry and Meghan left their duties as Royals and moved to the United States. She weighed 7lbs 11oz at birth.

Contrary to the procession that surrounded Archie's birth, the announcement of Lilibet was lowkey. She also became the first of the Queen's great-grandchildren to be born outside the UK.

Lilibet's birth comes three months after her parents Prince Harry and Meghan, gave an interview to Oprah where they accused the Royal family of mistreating them.

The couple, together with their children, has not been back in the UK since, and none of the Royal family has physically seen their daughter, Lilibet, yet.

TENSION BETWEEN CHARLES AND HARRY GROWS

In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Prince Harry accused the Royal family of cutting him off financially because he and Meghan chose to step back from royal duties and move to America.

The Duke of Sussex claimed he only had the money his late mother, Princess Diana, left to him. He and his family would not have moved to the US without the money.

He also denied he blindsided his grandmother, the Queen, by announcing he and Meghan, who was pregnant with their second child, would be stepping down from royal duties.

Prince Harry revealed he had multiple conversations about their decision to step back with the Queen and his father, Prince Charles before the latter stopped taking his calls. Their decision to step back from royal duties disappointed most royals, including the Queen and Prince Charles.

Prince Harry's relationship with his father, Prince Charles, further deteriorated with the former's decision to air his grievances in public with the interview. Prince Charles was reportedly frustrated and disappointed with his son, who accused his father of cutting him off financially.
