Adam Sandler ‘Locked Eyes & Fell Deep’ for a Girl Serving Drinks in His Film - They Are Together for 24 Years
Adam Richard Sandler is an actor, comedian, musician, and filmmaker. The natural comic, married to the girl he met serving drinks in his film, honed his talents during his university days.
With his brother's encouragement, he performed at a Boston Comedy Club and eventually became a regular on MTV's "Remote Control" and NBC's "Saturday Night Live" from 1990 to 1995.
Over the years, he devoted himself to making and acting movies such as "Billy Madison," "Happy Gilmore," "The Wedding Singer," "I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry," and more.
Born on September 9, 1966, the actor and comedian graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
His acting career kicked off in 1987 when he played Theo Huxtable's friend, Smitty, in "The Cosby Show." Since 1993, Sandler has released over four comedy albums, three of which have gone platinum.
In 2019, he returned to host "Saturday Night Live" with a musical tribute to former castmate Chris Farley. As a musician, his songs like "The Chanukah Song," among others, have made it to the "Billboard" charts.
HOW SANDLER MET HIS WIFE
In 1999, when Sandler got on the set of "Big Daddy," little did he know that he would find his wife there. His wife, Jackie Titone, was an aspiring actress getting her big break in Hollywood.
She played the role of a waitress who took Sandler's order at a sports bar, and the rest is history. Sandler and Titone started dating shortly after the film was released.
In 2002, he announced his engagement to Titone. Even though they celebrate over two decades of marriage, they almost went their separate ways shortly before their wedding.
More than two years after they had started dating, the pair started thinking about marriage but disagreed over signing a prenuptial contract.
At the time, Sandler, who was earning over five million dollars per movie, wanted Titone, a model and an upcoming actress earning about five thousand dollars a day for fashion shoots, to sign a prenuptial contract.

Despite the disagreement, they still talked to each other, stayed together, worked things out, and have been inseparable ever since.
SANDLER'S WEDDING AND HIS WIFE'S RELIGIOUS CONVERSION
On June 22, 2003, Sandler and Titone got married in an outdoor ceremony at Dick Clark's oceanfront in Malibu. Their celebrity friends attended their Jewish wedding.
For their wedding, the comedian who's never far from his pet bulldog, Meatball, had the dog dressed in a matching custom tuxedo and was Sandler's best man.

While Sandler wore a black suit that he finished off with a matching bowtie and a boutonnière, Titone wore an elegant, floor-length gown featuring a plunging sweetheart neckline.
Shortly after they had started dating, Titone, who was raised as a Christian, converted to Judaism in 2000. Her religious conversion marked a significant leap in their relationship.

ADAM SANDLER'S KIDS
Three years after they married, they welcomed their oldest daughter, Sadie Madison, on May 6, 2006. Two years after their first child, they welcomed their second daughter Sunny Madeline on November 2, 2008.
The couple raised their children in Los Angeles, and in 2017, Sandler told Ellen DeGeneres that his daughters don't exactly like his movies.

When he went on "The Drew Barrymore's Show," the owner of Happy Madison Productions also revealed that while he worked with his daughters on Netflix's "Hubie Halloween," they weren't interested in acting.
For them, it was a different experience than they had expected. Sandler says his kids give the most joy even though he had to make major life adjustments on being a dad. He no longer stays out too late as parenting takes a lot out of him.

TITONE GUIDES SANDLER'S KISSING ON-SCREEN
One certain feature of Sandler is that he gives his all in any movie in which he's acting. This work ethic also translates to his romantic interests on-screen, especially when kissing is involved.
However, things are a lot different now that he's married, as his wife is on set encouraging him to do better. He said it was an awkward experience even though his family loved it.

His wife encourages him to kiss his on-screen partners better without getting jealous. Also, when Titone feels like he's not playing a romantic scene properly, she tells him to go back and look a little more alive.
Besides asking him to do better in romantic scenes, Titone also gives Sandler the "strength and courage" to take on roles he's scared to try.

SANDLER'S SECRET TO A LASTING MARRIAGE
Every married couple agrees that marriage is hard, but Sandler revealed that his marriage has survived because they find time to get together.
He said being married means you have to make sure that you don't run off too long. Also, they have made their marriage work by hanging out together and telling the truth.
They both know when the other person isn't the happiest they have ever been as a couple. To remedy this, they spend time together, and they are better.

Sandler and Titone still have that loving feeling no matter how long they have been married. Sandler doesn't mind showing a little public affection as they hold each other while grabbing a coffee.
When they are not grabbing a coffee, they take romantic strolls around their vicinity, with Titone always better and more stylishly dressed than Sandler.
Sandler participated in a streaming event tagged "Laugh Aid for Comedy Gives Back's COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund during the lockdown." The event raised over three hundred thousand dollars for the cause.
In 2020, Sandler celebrated his 17nd wedding anniversary and took to Instagram to recall the first time they met. His caption read,
"22 years ago today we locked eyes and fell deep. Look forward to the next 22, young lady. Love you, my forever girl."
Ever since they met, Titone has appeared in many movies with Sandler. She starred in "50 First Dates," "That's My Boy," "Just Go With It," "Grown Ups," and "Little Nicky."
