Who Is Thomas Jane? Meet Patricia Arquette's Ex-husband & Father of Her Daughter Harlow Olivia Calliope Jane
Patricia Arquette was married to "The Predator" star Thomas Jane, but they parted ways after a few years despite their efforts to make things work for their daughter's sake.
"Boyhood" star Patricia Arquette has accomplished almost everything in the entertainment industry: she has won an Oscar, two Emmys, three Golden Globes, and many more accolades.
Unfortunately, a few of her relationships ended sooner than expected, including her marriage to "Hung" actor Thomas Jane. Read on and see the details of Jane and Arquette's marriage and the murderer she was briefly involved with.

MAKING OUT WITH A MURDERER
In April 2021, Arquette responded to a tweet asking about her most awkward date, and nobody expected how dark her story would turn.
It was her second date with a "really cute" professional skateboarder who was friends with her friends. Although Arquette didn't share much information about it, it was probably in the late 1970s or early 1980s.

Things went well between the two, and they kissed. However, his kissing skills freaked Arquette out, so she just gave him a fake number and never saw him again. "Years later, he killed his girlfriend," Arquette revealed.
The professional skater she kissed was Mark "Gator" Rogowski, who sexually abused and killed Jessica Bergsten in 1991 because she was friends with his ex-girlfriend, Brandi McClain.

Arquette explained that Rogowski's kiss felt aggressive and angry, so she trusted her instincts and avoided getting closer to a future murderer.
She eventually met and fell in love with musician Paul Rossi. While they never married, they welcomed a son, Enzo, in January 1989. Arquette's failed marriages began after leaving Rossi.
Arquette and Jane turned the relationship switch to the "on" position again for the sake of seven-year-old Harlow.
PATRICIA ARQUETTE AND NICOLAS CAGE'S MARRIAGE
Patricia Arquette's first husband was Nicolas Cage. She met him and "Back to the Future" star Crispin Glover in the late 1980s at a deli in Los Angeles. She had not met Rossi at the time.
Both Glover and Cage told her they would marry her, but the latter was more committed and asked Arquette to give him a list of tasks to prove he would be a worthy husband.
She agreed and asked for seemingly impossible things, like a black orchid (it doesn't exist) and a J.D. Salinger's autograph (he only issued a few signatures throughout his career).

Cage showed up at her home with a purple orchid and black spray paint a while later. He then bought a letter Salinger wrote and gave it to Arquette. When he was ready to steal a Bob's Big Boy statue (another item on her list), she asked him to stop.
She didn't agree to marry him right away, but she went out with him. However, Cage had a public meltdown at the airport, and Arquette broke their relationship.
In 1995, after her relationship with Rossi and Cage's romance with Christina Fulton ended, Arquette ran into Cage in the same Los Angeles deli. That April, only two weeks after their chance encounter, they tied the knot.
Unfortunately, they divorced in 2000. Arquette eventually revealed they spent too much time apart. They lived a few times separately because of their fights, busy schedules, and Arquette's mom's 1997 battle with breast cancer.
PATRICIA ARQUETTE AND THOMAS JANE
Arquette's second husband was fellow actor Thomas Jane. They met through mutual friends one year after finalizing her divorce with Cage.
Jane and Arquette became engaged in 2002 after the actress discovered she was expecting his daughter. Harlow Olivia Calliope joined the family in February 2003, and in June 2006, Arquette and Jane tied the knot in Venice, Italy.
Thomas Jane and his daughter will work together in K. Asher Levin's indie thriller "Dig."
The former couple understandably kept the details of their relationship away from the spotlight. Sadly, Arquette filed for divorce in January 2009, citing irreconcilable differences.
Arquette and Jane turned their relationship switch to the "on" position again for the sake of seven-year-old Harlow. They parted ways for good one year later, finalizing their divorce in July 2011. They shared joint custody of their daughter.
Although Patricia Arquette and Thomas Jane's split took longer than expected, they didn't end their relationship on a sour note. She even admitted people wouldn't imagine things between them could be "so friendly and not weird."
PATRICIA ARQUETTE'S GROWN-UP CHILDREN
Coming back to Arquette's family, her two kids are already successful adults. Enzo is 33 years old and gave Hollywood a try in his 20s, appearing in "Scenes from Oblivion" and working with his mom in "The Indian Runner," "True Romance," and "Medium."
However, he is now focused on his teaching job at the University of Amsterdam. He is an associate professor in the Political Science department and co-edits the European Journal of Political Theory.
Harlow is also following in her mom's footsteps and made her acting debut at 12 in "Texas Rising." In April 2021, it was revealed that Thomas Jane and his daughter would work together in K. Asher Levin's indie thriller "Dig."
Jane and Harlow will portray a widower and his teenage daughter. They have a strained relationship and are forced to work together to survive after intruders hold them hostage.
Executive producer Courtney Lauren Penn pointed out that the authentic connection between Harlow and Jane (who will also serve as an executive producer) would work great for the film. She added:
"I'm beyond excited to see Thomas and Harlow on screen together and witness the magic they create in roles tailor-made for them."
Nowadays, Patricia Arquette is in a long-time relationship with artist Eric White. They were photographed together for the first time in 2014 during her promotion of "Boyhood," but it is unclear how long they've been dating.
She is still very much active in the entertainment industry and is one of the main stars in Apple TV+'s "Severance." Arquette will also star in the upcoming TV series "High Desert." What a talented family!
