Adam Scott, Britt Lower, Zach Cherry, and Tramell Tillman, who portray Lumon Industries employees on the show, appeared in full character on Tuesday (January 14, 2025), as part of a unique promotional campaign for the upcoming second season.

In a striking installation, a glass-enclosed cubicle set resembling the sterile office from Lumon Industries was placed inside the bustling train station.

The official trailer for season 2 was released on December 7, 2024, giving fans a sneak peek into what lies ahead. The tense, atmospheric trailer teased more of Lumon Industries' dark secrets, along with deeper storylines involving Mark and his "innie" and "outie" personas.

Ben Stiller, the mastermind behind the series, spoke about the long-awaited season during an appearance on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" on January 10, 2025. Stiller acknowledged the delay in production, largely due to the dual strikes in Hollywood, and expressed gratitude to fans for their patience.

Colbert, known for his humor, joked with Stiller, "I wasn't patient at all. I said some terrible things about you." Stiller responded with a laugh before discussing how his wife, Christine Taylor, and their children watch the show.

"Christine and my kids are sort of the test audience for the show. So, I'll show them episodes while we are in process and get their feedback," he revealed.

In a separate interview with The New York Times, the 59-year-old actor and comedian provided more insight into the direction of the show, confirming that the creators have mapped out the series' ending.

When asked if he could share any spoilers, Stiller declined but hinted at the show's deeper themes. "In my mind, the series has always been about Mark and his innie and his outie, and the ultimate destination for both of them," he said.

The Grand Central Station pop-up event brought "Severance's" unique concept to life, blending the show's themes of identity and surveillance with an innovative marketing approach.

With the cast appearing in character and fans eagerly awaiting the January 17 premiere, the immersive stunt has further fueled excitement for the highly anticipated second season on Apple TV+.
