'Cleaning Lady's' Elodie Yung Is a Doting Mother Off-Screen - She Shares a Daughter with Her Husband Jonathan Howard

She plays Thony De La Rosa in "Cleaning Lady," and her determination to seek help for her ailing son is a true reflection of her real life as a mother of one.

Elodie Yung plays a whip-smart Cambodian doctor working as a cleaning lady in the United States. She highly identified with the role as her father was a Cambodian immigrant who fought tooth and nail to make himself a place in France.

The role which portrayed her as a fiercely protective mother who would scale any heights for her child truly resonated with Elodie as she is also a mother. Her character showed resilience and would not stop fighting for her son.

YUNG IS A MOTHER OF ONE IN REAL LIFE

In real life, the "Daredevil" actress is a mother of a daughter, who she welcomed in 2018. On June 2, 2018, she announced her pregnancy with a cute photo as she sat in a pool, cradling her baby bump.

The photo showed the actress sitting on a pool stair, with a wide-brimmed hat, a black swimsuit, and a massive smile on her face, a reflection of her joy at the soon-to-arrive bundle of joy. She captioned the photo: "Surprise! My little sunshine ☀️."

The "District 13" actress welcomed her baby girl, Minavann Yung Howard, two months later. In a post announcing the arrival of her baby, the actress shared a cute photo as she held her baby closely, with the caption:

"Let me introduce you to the love of my life: baby girl Minavann! Here's a pic the day she was born 😍 She's 7 days today!"

Now three, little Minavann loves spending time with her mom and dad, as evident from the numerous photos of the cute family. Yung often shares pictures of the family blending with nature at national parks or even horse riding.

Like her mother, Minavann's dad is also an actor. He is "Skylines" actor Jonathan Howard, who's also known for his roles in various films and TV shows, including "Looking After the Penneys," "Doctors," and "Dominion."

He has also appeared on "Downtown Abbey" as the handsome bar patron, then as Sixth Officer Moody on the miniseries "Titanic," and as Gavin Moody, a young footballer in "Dream Team."

Based on his Instagram, the "Episodes" actor loves spending time with his family and often shares photos enjoying the beautiful outdoors or having fun with his wife and daughter.

While the cute couple has never shared news of their wedding, they refer to each other as husband and wife on their Instagram posts.

In a post on Yung's Instagram, she appreciated the "Thor: The Dark World" actor with a tribute writing: "You are a wonderful person with a big big heart ♥️ And the best husband and best Papa ever!"
