Princess Charlotte's Personality Mirrors Princess Diana

Earlier in March 2022, the princess was cited in public with her family as they stepped out for the late prince Philip's memorial. During the outing, royal experts took in some personality traits that Charlotte displayed.

The children behaved at their best as they stood with their parents, who carried out their royal responsibilities. However, according to royal expert Judi James, Charlotte displayed a few traits reminiscent of the late Princess Diana.

James shared a juxtaposition between Prince George's demeanor and Charlotte's. While George held on to Prince William's hands, he listened intently to how his father introduced him to the archbishop and other officials.

James stated that this display showed George was confident. Charlotte showed the initial aura of shyness which could give way to a more bubbly personality. This is similar to how Princess Diana handled royalty. James stated:

"Like Diana she gives the initial impression of shyness but beneath that appears to be an outgoing, fun personality. She also picked out several of the cameras with her eyes, as Diana always remembered to do."

Duchess Kate also seemed to be keeping an eye on Charlotte constantly as she whispered from time to time to the young girl. In addition, Kate reportedly gestured a few times, trying to keep Charlotte on her best behavior.

However, the first signs of her outgoing character showed when she recognized her friend and cousin Mia Tindall at the occasion. Charlotte waved enthusiastically at the other kid.

Princess Charlotte's Nickname and Cute First Word

In the few years of her young life, Charlotte drew public attention and was an absolute delight to her family. While she is officially referred to by her first name and her title in public, her mom and dad have endearing characters for her.

Once when the family was in public, Prince William was heard calling her Mignonette, the French word for "cute" or "small and delicate." Kate opted for the diminutive form of her only daughter's name as she calls her "Lottie."

The princess has had a few firsts in life, and one of them had been so satisfying when fans gleaned it at a public event. Charlotte, who was 16 months old, watched so many balloons flow around her, and she let out her first word, "pop!"

Charlotte's Happy Morning Ritual

Charlotte has a fun morning ritual that revolves around music. The youngster would usually join her family for a music-filled breakfast in the kitchen.

Usually, the kids pick out the music; the morning ritual always has Charlotte and George fighting over who would pick out the theme. Prince William revealed this during his Apple Fitness "Time To Talk" interview.

The doting dad relayed that the pair would often tussle over whose music choice would be played, but he resolved the dilemma by letting them take turns. He explained:

"Most mornings, there's a massive fight between Charlotte and George as to what song is played in the morning. And I have to, now, basically prioritize that one day someone does this one, and another day it's someone else's turn."

Prince William described his household's morning routine as "such a clamor for music." He also explained that Charlotte had a special ritual that included spirited dancing. The duke stated:

"Charlotte, particularly, is running around the kitchen in her dresses and ballet stuff and everything. She goes completely crazy with Louis following her around trying to do the same thing."

The star dad heartily included that little Prince Louis would often tag along. Of course, he followed her every move, but as most older sisters can relate, Charlotte did not seem to be a fan of Louis' moves.

Charlotte doesn't just go into the kitchen singing; she goes fully dressed and equipped in her ballet outfit and other accessories. Her dad described it as a "happy moment" because Charlotte would often run around dancing and singing.

Charlotte displays her budding sense of humor when she isn't getting all sporty and expending some energy. She is proving to be quite the joker, and her dad confirmed it. William stated during a royal engagement:

"If you ask her, she says she's 16. Charlotte says, 'I'm six now, I'll do whatever I want'. They grow up very fast."

Insiders have revealed that the young girl is also self-aware. Charlotte knows she is a princess and has already shown her love for toy tiaras as fashion accessories. The insider also stated:

"She feels so grown up now that she's five. She likes to pick out her own outfits with Kate's help, and if she doesn't like a dress she's wearing."

Princess Charlotte is said to be expressive and always makes her feelings known. The close source added that the little girl never feels intimidated.
