Although public figures, the British royal children don’t always appear in public engagements with their parents, leaving fans wondering how they have changed in appearance each day.

However, Kate Middleton and Prince William annually mark their children's birthdays by posting portraits on social media, which royal fans anticipate. Specifically, many want to know who the kids are growing up to resemble.

This year, Princess Charlotte turned seven, and as the only daughter of William, her birthday photos were undoubtedly anticipated by everyone who wants to see the beauty of the growing princess.

DOES PRINCESS CHARLOTTE LOOK LIKE PRINCE WILLIAM?

Charlotte turned seven years old on May 2, 2022, and just like every year, a gorgeous outdoor photo was featured on the royals' Instagram account.

In this year's portrait, Charlotte looked over the moon, smiling ear-to-ear in a field of flowers beside her black cocker spaniel. The young princess looked beautiful in a light blue sweater over a polka dot collared top.

It comes as no surprise that this year's photographs were taken outdoors, as her previous birthday pictures were also shot in a similar setting.

Last year, Charlotte's birthday special was spent packing food bags for locally isolated prisoners. She looked dainty in a black and white checkered dress with ruffled collars paired with gray leggings and black shoes.

In her recent birthday Instagram snap, fans shared their thoughts on who the celebrant looked more like, and most of them agreed that Charlotte resembled William.

“William's mini me,” one said, while another agreed, “Oh my… she is Prince William with long hair. Happiest birthday sweet Princess Charlotte.”

PRINCESS CHARLOTTE LOOKS LIKE OTHER ROYAL MEMBERS

It turns out William is not the only royal member his daughter resembles. In a black and white photo of Queen Elizabeth during her younger years, it is evident that Charlotte came from the same lineage.

The seven-year-old also looks like her grandmother, Princess Diana's niece, Lady Kitty Spencer. Although Spencer's hair is a lighter shade of blonde, their identical features from throwback photos show that they are definitely blood-related.

The last royal Charlotte looks like is Sarah Chatto, the daughter of Princess Margaret. Although their resemblance isn't as strong, the two beautiful girls have similar face shapes.

Although she resembles several family members, Charlotte has a distinct personality that makes fans love her. Kate and William's child has a self-assured character and showed several bold public moments in the past.

One thing she is fond of doing is sticking her tongue out to people, a cute yet sassy move. She also sometimes waves her hand to the crowd like a sophisticated royal.

Regardless of the environment she is placed in, Charlotte likes to enjoy herself and play with those around her. Indeed, this royal is making the most out of everything she has.

In 2021, Charlotte was featured in the HBO Max animated series, “The Prince,” which focuses on the everyday lives of the royals. The show is an animated parody of the Sussexes, where the characters exaggerate the possible perception of the young royals.

The show's trailer left many fans outraged, calling the storyline inappropriate and disrespectful, especially to Prince George and Charlotte.
