Halsey Revealed One of Her Post-Birth Health Issues: Being Allergic To Most Common Products

In late January 2021, three-time Grammy nominee pop star Halsey revealed on her social media that she was expecting her first child. The caption of her post was "surprise!" followed by three emojis: a baby bottle, rainbow, and an infant angel.

The "Be Kind" singer, who had opened up about her miscarriage in a 2018 interview, was excited for her growing family and shut down critics who speculated that she did not plan the pregnancy.

In July 2021, Halsey, who was battling several health conditions, announced the arrival of her child on her Instagram page with a black and white image.

The singer took to a recent TikTok video to reveal that many things about her health had changed since her baby's arrival. In the caption of her video, she wrote, "everything is fine!"

However, in the video, she revealed that she was allergic to coffee, spinach, potatoes, milk, corn, ginger, garlic, wheat, crab, grapes, peppers, nuts, coconuts, bananas, onions, turkey, mustard, mackerel, lemons, soy, and more.

WHAT HEALTH PROBLEMS DID HALSEY HAVE?

Halsey, who has had autoimmune issues for most of her life and was dealing with endometriosis, said things had worsened since her baby.

She had been hospitalized for anaphylaxis a few times and had seen multiple doctors. Hasley was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, mast-cell-activation syndrome, and Sjögren's syndrome.

The singer has been vocal about dealing with endometriosis, and she said they were looking for the root cause of all her health challenges.

WHO IS HALSEY DATING?

Halsey surprised her fans with the news of her pregnancy with her boyfriend, Alev Aydin. However, the couple has been an item since 2019.

Aydin is a Turkish screenwriter who released an eight-episode TV series called "Small Shots" in 2017. Before then, he had released "Turbo and Joey" in 2013, and he executive produced "HipMen: Los Angeles."

The couple is private about their relationship and were really good friends for four years before they started dating. They welcomed their first child, Ender Ridley Aydin, on July 14, 2021.

HALSEY TOUR CANCELED DUE TO HEALTH STRUGGLES?

Halsey has been hospitalized several times from severe allergic reactions, and in her Instagram story, her fans saw her wearing a heart monitor.

However, the pop star has asked her fans not to worry and has promised them that she will give the best of herself in her upcoming "Love And Power" tour to support her 2021 "If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power" album.

The singer, who said she has a lot of angst, energy, and confusion, revealed that she is starting a treatment plan as she rehearses for the tour. She said:

"I'm really excited and confident that I'm going to be able to do it in a way that's healthy, where I can perform my best for all of you."

Halsey further stated that she is also excited to be going on tour because it would keep her mind off of everything and keep her body healthy. After all, she will be active and doing cardio every day.
