Bob Saget passed away earlier this year. Here are details of how he spent his last moments, what caused his demise and how those he left behind coped with his death — his wife still feels his presence in everything.

On May 17, 1956, Bob Saget was born in Pennsylvania to supermarket executive Benjamin Saget and hospital administrator Rosalyn "Dolly" Saget.

He had been initially interested in pursuing a medical degree, but his teacher convinced him to become an actor.

And he would have turned 66 today had he been alive. He was an American actor best known for his role as Danny Tanner in the sitcom titled "Full House."

He played it so well that he could reprise the part when he appeared in the sequel of the franchise "Fuller House."

It aired between 2016 and 2020, and he passed away two years later, on January 9, 2022. What happened to him?

HOW DID BOB SAGET DIE?

Nobody was aware of the cause of Bob Saget's demise until his family made the revelation one month later in a statement they made to PEOPLE.

The tragedy happened in room 962 at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes in Florida. According to eyewitnesses, nobody could have guessed it would happen because he had been bouncing about spreading positive energy in the hotel lobby a couple of days before.

He was found dead in his bed on January 9, 2022, prompting speculations on what could have suddenly ended his life.

Things got even more unusual when the Chief Medical Examiner, Joshua Stephany, revealed that the actor had succumbed to a wound obtained from blunt trauma to the head.

In the statement they made to People, the Saget family revealed the conclusion that he mistakenly hit the back of his head on something but had not thought much of it before going to bed.

They also alleged that no drugs or alcohol was involved and acknowledged the outpour of love from his fans since the news went live.

The statement ended with the Saget family urging his fans to remember the lessons he imparted while alive, "to be kind to everyone, to let the people you love know you love them, and to face difficult times with hugs and laughter."

WHAT DID BOB SAGET'S WIFE SAY ABOUT HIS DEATH?

Bob Saget's demise hit the entertainment world hard because he had been liked by many, including his colleagues.

However, the people who suffered the most were those who knew him deeper. People like his wife, Kelly Rizzo, opened up about losing him weeks after his demise.

In an interview with Today, Rizzo revealed how difficult it was not to reflect on their time together because "everything is a memory" that reminds her of him.

She described it as both a blessing and a curse, but she also said her body had run out of tears to shed, giving her a "sense of calm" amidst the turmoil in her heart.

The gorgeous 42-year-old also revealed a deep appreciation for those who took the time to reach out with words of encouragement and thanked them for it.

DID BOB SAGET LEAVE CHILDREN BEHIND?

Besides Rizzo, Bob Saget was survived by his three children, all daughters he welcomed while he was married to his first wife, Sherri.

The first two girls, Aubrey and Lara, were twins they welcomed in 1987, and the pair grew up to become artists.

The late actor's third daughter was named Jennifer, born in November 1992. Of all three, she is the most private with her lifestyle, but she also has her roots in the arts.
