Kourtney Kardashian Had a Lavish Wedding with Boyfriend Who 'Had a Crush' on Kim Many Years Ago
Kourtney Kardashian may be the eldest of the Kardashian sisters. Still, it was not until recently that the 43-year-old became the last to wed — and is currently the only married woman. This comes after her lavish wedding ceremony with her now-husband, Travis Barker, who was once attracted to her sister, Kim.
Reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian is one of the less controversial among her siblings. However, like every "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star, her lifestyle is peculiar and intriguing to her fans.
In the early days of the family's "KUWTK" show, the 43-year-old socialite portrayed family values with her longtime on-and-off lover and father to her three kids, Scott Disick. Throughout the years they were together, the duo knew how to navigate their relationship but never got married.

On the other hand, Kourtney's sisters were deeply rooted in what seemed like never-ending-romances, and they enjoyed marriages for some time.
Kim dated many famous figures, including Reggie Bush, Miles Austin, Nick Cannon, and Nick Lachey, and her most famous love story was with Ray J. However, she was only married three times.
Her first husband was Damon Thomas, a songwriter she married at 19. The second man to say "I do" was Kris Humphries, a basketball player. Lastly, Kim married rapper Kanye West, from whom she recently divorced. At the moment, she is in a romance with Pete Davidson.

The third Kardashian girl, Khloe, has been a Mrs. only once. She married former basketball star Lamar Odom and was later linked to Tristan Thompson. Although Khloe did not marry Thompson, she began a family with him following the birth of their only child, True.
The youngest Kardashian-Jenner sister, Kylie, shares two kids with rapper Travis Scott. Recently, her Met Gala outfit sparked rumors that she might be Mrs. Scott, but Kylie maintained that she would only marry the Met, referring to the event.
Kourtney's decision to remain single while co-parenting her kids with her ex-lover was because of his inability to shake off old habits. Although Disick behaved around the family, he struggled with alcohol and partying.
In 2017, when he tried to propose during a family vacation, Kourtney slammed him with a "no," which upset him. Disick left her with their kids to party with models in retaliation to the rejection.

It was apparent that it would be impossible for him to be a great dad until Sofia Richie came along. When she started dating Disick, he abandoned his demons, and it was impressive to his ex-lover.
The mother-of-three gave her blessings to the couple and even trusted her kids with Richie, despite mentioning that she was too young for Disick to date.
Thankfully, Disick's kids had good reports about their dad's lover. Sadly, while they were getting to know her, things became rigid between the lovers, and in 2020, they ended their romance.
Unlike Disick, who was swift in entering new relationships, Kourtney chose to guard her heart and focus on her career and kids until the right one came along. Now, she seems hooked on her Mr. Right, with whom she celebrated a lavish wedding ceremony in Italy.

Kourtney's new and only husband once had a crush on her younger sister. In 2015, Barker, a drummer, candidly talked about how he was captivated by Kim because of her curvy shape, even though he was with another woman. In his words:
"Mind you, I enjoyed hanging out with Paris, but I love curvy girls. Kim was eye candy. I was no way disrespectful to Paris, but I couldn't keep my eyes off Kim!"
The pair only interacted as friends despite the crush and were sometimes flirtatious, but nothing romantic happened. That same year, Barker, who lived in the same vicinity as Kourtney, became close to the reality TV star. Their friendship continued for many years. But by the beginning of 2021, the duo became fond of commenting on each other's posts.
A few days after Valentine's Day in 2021, Kourtney boldly confirmed speculations from fans by sharing an adorable snap of her holding one of Barker's hands. The following month, the drummer admitted that Kourtney was great company while gushing over their time together. He said:
"I'm spending time with a woman who's a great mom, who's a great friend, and you don't have to worry about any of those things. It just comes natural, it's like a maturity thing."
It didn't stop there. Barker, seemingly in awe of his partner, inked her name on his body and surprised her with it on her 42nd birthday.
Since then, the couple has been going on different vacations, rocking matching outfits, holding hands in public, and being very generous with their PDA. They were engaged before the year ended, and talks of starting a family sprung up. Less than a month ago, rumors of them getting married surfaced, but it was only a practice ceremony.
The legal marriage happened about a week ago in Santa Barbara, CA. The couple then scheduled an Italian wedding ceremony for the following weekend. According to an insider:
"All the details are set and the whole family, including all the kids, are very excited."
THE FIRST WEDDING OF THE FIRST KARDASHIAN
Following their exchange of vows in the US, the couple, alongside family and friends, traveled to Portofino, Italy, for one of the most memorable ceremonies of the year!
For the attendance list, the couple carefully selected their loved ones to witness the luxury wedding party. Although Disick did not make it on the guest list, his three kids were happy to be there.
Kourtney's sisters, mother, and Barker's two kids from a former marriage also showed up. The couple opted to celebrate their big day at a historic site, Castellow Brown, situated above Portofino harbor.
For the wedding, Kourtney dressed in an unconventional wedding dress. It was a short lace dress designed by Dolce and Gabbana with a long, dazzling veil decorated with the image of the praying Virgin Mary.
Many are in awe of the newest couple in town, and their numerous wedding celebrations have made them top the news. They look genuinely happy together; after all, Kourtney waited long enough for her knight in shining armor.
