What Is the Meaning behind Kourtney Kardashian's Wedding Veil?
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker recently exchanged vows in front of their families and children where the bride chose to wear an interesting veil with a beautiful story behind it.
During a lavish ceremony, a besotted Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker got married in Portofino, Italy, on May 22, 2022. Kardashian shared an Instagram picture of her and the Blink-182 drummer kissing at the altar with the caption, "Happily ever after."
Besides the evident love between the couple, what caught many people's attention was Kardashian's white veil. What did the image mean?

HOW DID KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN LOOK AT THE WEDDING?
Kardashian wore a white corset mini-dress by Dolce & Gabbana, influenced by 1960s Italian lingerie. She also had white gloves and a long white veil. Speaking about the process of designing her wedding attire, the Poosh founder said:
"Designing my dresses with Domenico and Stefano has been a dream come true in every way."
Hand embroidered into the headpiece were flowers inspired by the seaside town's many Mediterranean gardens. A depiction of the Virgin Mary was incorporated into the veil, based on one of Barker's tattoos. A text accompanied the religious iconography that read "Family Loyalty Respect."
Long before the pair said their "I dos," Barker explained why he had a tattoo depicting the Virgin Mary on his head, which inspired the image on Kardashian's veil. Speaking about his reason for getting the ink, he explained:
"I got the Virgin Mary tattooed on my foreman when I was 18, 19, and I was brought up Catholic."
He went on to say that he doesn't attend church regularly or try to push his beliefs on people. But, the pop-punk icon stated that he personally believes in God.
GETTING READY TO WED IN BLACK
The day before the celebrations, "Kravis" looked as stylish as ever, with Kardashian rocking a black mini-dress. It sported a colored image of the Virgin Mary.
She included a black shoulder-length veil with electric blue lace trim lace. The couple walked around Portofino with her son Reign Aston Disick. Kardashian's beau was also dressed in all-black in a cassock. He completed the look with black sunglasses.
The ceremony in Italy was not the first time the pair exchanged vows. The couple's first wedding occurred in Las Vegas in April 2022, where, in the early morning hours, they could not get a marriage license.
So, on May 15, 2022, the pair said their "I dos" at a courthouse in Santa Barbara, legally sealing the deal. Although it was a courthouse wedding with only two guests in attendance, Kardashian still chose to take her fashion to the next level.
Once again, she sported a Dolce & Gabbana mini-dress and veil, proving that even though their first controversial reality show may be over, the Kardashians will make sure they look good - cameras on or off.
LORD DISICK DISAPPROVES
While Kardashian and Barker have been celebrating their life together as a married couple, one person may not have been in a celebratory mood.
In January of this year, it was reported that Scott Disick, the mother of Kardashian's kids, was still upset over the engagement.
He was struggling to accept that Kardashian would be marrying someone else, leaning on Kim Kardashian for moral support.
Let's hope that he has or will come to terms with the marriage - or that he at least approves of the couple's raging fashion choices.
