Is Ryan Gosling Still Married to the Mother of His Children?

Ryan Gosling has consistently delivered outstanding performances in films and TV shows for years, and he has also kept plenty of details of his love life away from the spotlight.

The trailer of Ryan Gosling's "The Gray Man" premiered on YouTube on May 24, and it got over seven million views in just over a day. Gosling portrays Court Gentry, a black-ops mercenary from the CIA who unveiled incriminating secrets about the agency.

Chris Evans plays Lloyd Hansen; another CIA mercenary tasked with capturing Gentry. The trailer made such a splash that Gosling's name started trending on social media, and people wondered about his love life.

IS RYAN GOSLING MARRIED?

Although Ryan Gosling hardly ever mentions his wife in public, he is married to Eva Mendes, the actress who shot to stardom after working on "Hitch" and "The Other Guy."

Like many other Hollywood romances, Gosling and Mendes' began on a movie set. According to "The Place Beyond the Pines" director Derek Cianfrance, Gosling recommended Mendes for his character's love interest in the 2012 film.

The couple had known each other "for a while already," but working together must have brought them closer. Gosling and Mendes kept things under wraps but were spotted in Disneyland in September 2011 and then kissing that October.

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes worked together again in "Lost River." She portrayed cabaret dancer Cat while he served as the film's writer, director, and co-producer.

Mendes loves working with Gosling so much that she admitted her two "most incredible creative experiences" throughout her 20+ years in the entertainment industry were with him.

DOES RYAN GOSLING HAVE CHILDREN?

Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling's children, Esmeralda and Amada, were born in September 2014 and April 2016. Mendes's second pregnancy was a roller coaster, though.

Her brother, Juan Carlos Mendes, died from cancer only two weeks before Amada was born. The actress said that time in her life was intense and heartbreaking but also beautiful.

Not many actors have had a run in the entertainment industry as long and successful as Ryan Gosling.

Mendes pointed out that she didn't like posting photos of her daughters online because they're still too young to know its meaning. Until they are old enough to understand and give their consent, Mendes will keep them away from social media.

In October 2021, Gosling admitted that the quarantine was challenging for his daughters because they were away from other kids and family members.

However, he and Mendes did as much as possible to entertain them. The "Blade Runner 2049" star joked that he and his wife did more acting during the pandemic for their kids than in their entire Hollywood careers.

Speaking of Hollywood careers, not many actors have had a run in the entertainment industry as long and successful as Ryan Gosling. Critics consider his best film is 2011's "Drive."

However, 2016's "The Nice Guys" and "La La Land" are also up there. The latter even won him a Golden Globe for Best Actor and an Academy Award nomination for the same category. We can't wait to watch "The Gray Man" on Netflix on June 22.
