Who Was Todd Chrisley’s First Wife? He Was Married Once before Julie Chrisley Became His Spouse

Now embroiled in a controversy over an alleged affair with his previous male business partner, Todd Chrisley has quite an eventful relationship history. Let's look into the TV star's first marriage, prior to exchanging vows with his second wife, Julie Chrisley.

Todd Chrisley's former business partner revealed their past intimate relationship during the TV personality's federal fraud trial. Mark Braddock alleged that they kept their affair a secret for a year in the early 2000s. Braddock also testified that he and Todd shelled out $38,000 to pay a blackmailer who threatened to expose their affair.

His willingness to commit fraud, Braddock said, stemmed from his romantic feelings for the famous TV personality. Todd's attorney, however, branded Braddock as "obsessed" with the "Chrisley Knows Best" star. Todd and his wife, Julie Chrisley, were accused by federal prosecutors of tax evasion and fraud.

WHO WAS TERESA TERRY?

Todd and Julie have shared the spotlight as a married couple on USA Network's “Chrisley Knows Best." But before Julie, there was another woman in Todd's life.

Todd was previously married to Teresa Terry, whom he met in high school in Westminster, South Carolina. At the time, Teresa was just 17, while Todd was 19 and their love quickly blossomed.

They tied the knot two years later after Teresa became pregnant. They later welcomed their first child, Lindsie Chrisley. Their little family grew with the addition of a son named Kyle.

Todd and Teresa's marriage fell apart after seven years, with Teresa accusing him of physically and mentally abusing her throughout their marriage. She described him as a controlling spouse.

Amidst all the drama, Todd is blessed to be surrounded by a large family.

When their divorce was finalized, Todd and Teresa were awarded joint physical custody of their children. Terry later dropped the domestic violence charges and moved to Atlanta, Georgia, to start a new life.

Moving on from his first failed marriage, Todd met the woman who would become his second wife at a friend's house in the mid-1990s. Recalling the moment he saw Julie for the first time, Todd said he was struck by her smile.

Gushing about her, Todd said she was the only woman who had touched his soul. Falling head over heels for each other, the pair began dating, and soon after, Julie became pregnant.

On May 25, 1996, Todd and Julie exchanged wedding vows while nine months pregnant with their first child. Julie would give birth to their son, Chase Chrisley, less than a week later.

Amidst all the drama, Todd is blessed to be surrounded by a large family. The proud dad has five biological children - Lindsie, 32, Kyle, 30, Chase, 25, Savannah, 24, and Grayson,16.

As previously mentioned, Todd shares daughter Lindsie and son Kyle with his first wife. Meanwhile, Savannah and Grayson are the TV star's children with Julie.

Besides his children, Todd is also raising his nine-year-old granddaughter, Chloe. The little girl is Kyle's daughter from his ex-partner, Angela Johnson.
