Who Is Mama June’s Husband? The Reality Star Secretly Married Her Boyfriend Justin Stroud

June "Mama June" Shannon, an alum of "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," secretly married boyfriend Justin Stroud, whom she met last year, in a courthouse wedding in Georgia in March 2022. Here is everything we know about her husband.

June Shannon, who dropped out of high school at 15 to give birth to her first child, rose to fame in 2011 after being featured on TLC's "Toddlers & Tiaras."

The "Mama June: From Not to Hot" star, whose family's life became a fan favorite, has also had a controversial romantic life. But she is not giving up on the chance to find true love.

On March 23, 2022, June Shannon secretly married her boyfriend, Stroud, whom she had been dating for five months. Mama June said:

"We've known each other going on a year now. We were best friends and we decided to take it to the next step in the last eight months."

The Wilkinson County court officials confirmed that the couple was married. Even though Mama June is eight years older than her husband, she said he is an amazing person who understands everything she has been going through.

Stroud, who keeps a low profile, is an auto mechanic from Alabama. Mama June hinted at a relationship when she showed off a photo of his fresh forearm tattoo on her Instagram in October 2021.

Mama June and Stroud met on TikTok, and she said he did not know that she was famous. They became friends, and when they met, he did not know who she was.

Even though Mama June heard that she was not Stroud's type and that he was not single, it turned out not to be accurate as she was his type and he was single.

The reality star revealed that initially, Stroud's relationship with her daughters, Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, Lauryn "Pumpkin" Efird, and Jessica "Chubbs" Shannon, was rocky.

It was significantly worse after Stroud got arrested in February on an outstanding warrant in Florida. They arrested him when he and Mama June were attending an event.

Her girls were unhappy that she entered a new relationship less than a year after her previous "toxic situation," which they had to deal with.

However, things changed, and Mama June revealed that her daughters now get along with Stroud. She said:

"They have grown to, you know, love and appreciate him. They all get along now, I mean, he's been on a couple of family adventures with us, and we hang out as a family. You know, they don't have a problem with him."

MAMA JUNE'S EX-BOYFRIENDS

In the early 1990s, Mama June was in a relationship with David Dunn. They had a daughter, Anna "Chickadee" Cardwell, although Dunn spent most of Anna's childhood in and out of prison.

In 1999, she briefly dated Michael Anthony Ford, and they had a daughter, Jessica "Chubbs." Ford was sentenced to prison in 2005 for online sexual exploitation of a child and won't be eligible for parole until 2026.

Mama June revealed in 2014 that Ford was Lauryn's "Pumpkin" father when everyone previously believed that Mark McDaniel was Lauryn's father.

After Anna disclosed that he had abused her, McDaniel pled guilty to aggravated child molestation in 2003. Mama June then dated Michael "Sugar Bear" Thompson, and they were engaged for sixteen months.

They had a daughter, Alana "Honey Boo Boo," before they split. After their split, she dated Eugene "Geno" Doak, who has a lengthy criminal record and had spent time in prison.

After a domestic dispute, they arrested Mama June and Geno on March 13, 2019. Mama June and Geno were never officially engaged, but he went on one knee and gave her a promise ring.
