SHE WAS IN IMMENSE PAIN
Austin and Dannette Giltz were happy as a family of four, living in Sturgis, South Dakota, and they had no idea that their lives were about to change drastically.
Dannette was concerned when she fell ill and immediately thought it was kidney stones. She said:
"I started getting pains in my back and side. It felt like kidney stones [because] I've had them once before. I was in so much pain all I could do was lay in bed and cry. It hurt to move and breathe."

THE WOMAN WAS IN LABOR
The mother went to the urgent care when the pain was too much to bear, and after testing, doctors delivered shocking news. Dannette was pregnant—and she was carrying twins!
The pain the mother experienced was actually contractions, and the medical staff moved quickly because the babies were on the way. Dannette had a c-section without any time to process the ordeal, and her husband was equally stunned.
As soon as he knew his wife was stable and doing well, the dad started thinking about names for the two new additions to his family. He couldn't believe what had happened, but the surprises were not over.

MORE SHOCKING NEWS FROM THE DOCTOR
The mom explained that the hospital room was quiet—until the doctor suddenly asked for another blanket. Dannette said: "[My husband's] reaction is like excuse me, put it back, no, I was told I have twins, I'm not doing triplets."
However, the doctor wasn't joking, and another baby was ready to be delivered. The family and the rest of the world were stunned that Dannette carried triplets without knowing. The mom of five stated:
"You don't ever see triplets being conceived naturally, let alone going 34 weeks without knowing. So, everyone's like I can't believe it, I'm like we're still in shock, trust me, we know what you mean."

THEIR SON WAS WAITING FOR THIS DAY
Dannette welcomed one boy and two girls and shared that there was no morning sickness or movement in her stomach throughout the pregnancy.
In the couple's 12 years together, they had never imagined something so unbelievable would happen to them. They were unprepared and in disbelief, but their son Ronnie Giltz wasn't.
The youngster revealed that he had been waiting for the day his mother would bring home his new siblings. He recalled:
"One time I seen a shooting star and I wished for a baby brother, and I wished for like two sisters for my little sister because she always wanted a little sister, I knew this day was always going to come."

THE COMMUNITY SUPPORTED THEM
Austin said his head was exploding, and he was "overwhelmed honestly," but the father was grateful for his growing brood. He was primarily concerned about the health of his babies and delighted when doctors gave them the all-clear.
Having a family of seven might have come as an absolute shock, but what was even more surprising to see was the support from community members. Friends, family, and total strangers assisted the couple, bringing much-needed supplies.
The small community ensured the couple and their newborns were cared for, and they were immensely thankful. Dannette shared: "It's amazing in a small town how many people will come together for stuff that's not expected."
WELL WISHES TO THE MIRACLE BABIES
A friend of the couple also started a Facebook Fundraiser and raised money for the big family. The woman thanked everyone for their generous donations and stated that the support put Austin and Dannette at ease.
Users also wished them well, and one commenter wrote:
"Congratulations on your precious bundles of joy! May each day be full of surprises and blessings as the gifts you have received are priceless."
Someone else added: "Holy smokes!!! What a crazy and amazing story! My thoughts and prayers are with them all. I wish I still had some baby stuff to give them." Fortunately, the triplets received everything they needed, and their story touched many.
