Britney Spears's ex-husband, Jason Allen Alexander, shocked everybody when he tried to crash her wedding to Sam Asghari. He even broadcast his attempt live on Instagram.

Authorities arrested Jason Allen Alexander on June 9, 2022, for his "disgusting criminal misconduct" while trying to attend Britney Spears and Sam Asghari's wedding in Los Angeles without invitation.

Alexander shared the incident on a live broadcast on Instagram, and Spears's attorney, Mathew Rosengart, said he would ensure Alexander was prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Alexander and Spears are no strangers to making such unusual headlines, and their love story was extraordinary. They met when they were kids, married at A Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas in 2004, and annulled their marriage 55 hours later.

Attorney Mark Goldberg advised Alexander back then and revealed neither Spears nor Alexander wanted to end their marriage because they genuinely loved each other.

Spears's mom, Lynne, supposedly interfered with her daughter's life and forced them to break up. Lynne reportedly flew to Las Vegas, threw Alexander out, and sent him back home.

Shortly after, Spears's management filed a petition to annul the wedding because the pop star "lacked understanding of her actions." However, Alexander claimed that was not true.

He explained they were not drunk, and Spears was the one who came up with the marriage plan. Alexander added that Spears invited him to Las Vegas and paid for the flight. Alexander said:

"They told me if I would sign [the annulment], they would let me and Britney continue our relationship, and if we felt the same way in six months, they would give us a proper marriage."

The Spears family allowed the "Oops!... I Did It Again" singer and Alexander to communicate over the phone, but Spears's phone mysteriously stopped working after one month.

WHO IS JASON ALLEN ALEXANDER?

Born on October 16, 1981, Alexander grew up in Kentwood, Louisiana, with Spears. Before the wedding-crashing incident, people assumed Alexander had already moved on.

In August 2020, Alexander attended a Free Britney protest in Los Angeles amid her conservatorship dispute with her dad, Jamie. He admitted he would love to be back into her life somehow, but the conservatorship prevented it.

It is essential to note that Alexander has been arrested before. In December 2021, he was charged with violating an order of protection and aggravated stalking. Earlier that year, he was taken into custody twice: one for driving under the influence and the other for trespassing into an airport's "non-secure" area.
