In December 2017, Luckett and Walker tied the knot in Texas and wasted no time before enlarging their family. Their eldest child, Gianna, was born in January 2019, and their youngest, Tysun, joined the brood in September 2020.
On January 11, 2021, Luckett announced on Instagram that although she and Walker parted ways, they wanted to be loving co-parents and keep a healthy and respectful environment for their kids.
To do so, Luckett said she and Walker had to prioritize their kids and avoid trying to fix what went wrong in the marriage because it could cause problems.
LETOYA LUCKETT FOUND SUCCESS AFTER DESTINY'S CHILD
Most people remember Luckett as an original member of the successful R&B group Destiny's Child, but that part of her life ended over two decades ago. Fortunately, she has kept herself busy in the entertainment industry.
Big Slim explained their small but frequent disagreements led to multiple breakups.
Luckett launched her acting career in the 2010s with appearances in "Treme," "For Richer or Poorer," "Single Ladies," and "Ballers." From 2017 to 2020, she had a long run in "Greenleaf" opposite Merle Dandridge, Kim Hawthorne, Keith David, and other Hollywood stars.
The former Destiny's Child also had a stint in reality TV as she appeared in "T.I. & Tiny: Family & Friends Hustle." Luckett kept releasing music, including three studio albums in 2006, 2009, and 2017.
LETOYA LUCKETT OPENS UP WITH HER EX BIG SLIM
Coming back to "Leave It to LeToya," her first episode was "Having a Conversation with My Ex," and her guest was rapper Big Slim.
The former couple was in an on-and-off relationship for ten years, and they still have nothing but respect for each other. They talked about their time together, what they loved about each other, and why they never married.
Big Slim explained their small but frequent disagreements led to multiple breakups. When he was technically single, he got involved with other women, which created more tension between him and Luckett.
Luckett and Big Slim pointed out that while getting back together was not entirely out of the picture, their lives have significantly changed as both have kids. It would be an unexpected twist!
