Xavier Musk: All about Elon Musk’s Transgender Daughter Who Does Not Want to Bear His Last Name

Xavier Musk, Elon Musk's daughter, has petitioned the Los Angeles County Superior Court in Santa Monica in April 2022 for a name change and a new birth certificate reflecting her new gender identity.

This marks the first time Xavier has spoken up in public which alluded to a rift between her and her dad. Elon's 18-year-old daughter reportedly said she no longer wanted to be associated with her biological father.

Xavier Alexander is Elon's transgender daughter, born in April 2004. Xavier wished to be known as Vivian Jenna Wilson once the court granted her request to change her name and gender identification legally.

The 50-year-old billionaire has not publicly addressed his relationship with Xavier or his daughter's transition. It is unknown whether the Tesla founder and his transgender daughter have a strained relationship.

Before Xavier filed for legal processes at the Los Angeles Superior Court, Elon was criticized for his allegedly transphobic Twitter remark on the transgender community. Elon's December 2020 tweet read:

"I absolutely support trans, but all these pronouns are an esthetic nightmare."

Besides his Twitter comment, Elon declared his support for the Republican Party in May 2022. The Republican Party's elected officials support a slew of proposals that would curtail transgender rights nationwide.

Elon has yet to respond to Xavier's decision to alter his name due to gender identification. The SpaceX CEO has seven children from prior partnerships, including Xavier and her twin brother Griffin.

Elon has a total of eight children.

Xavier's mother is Justine Wilson, a Canadian modern fantasy author who was previously married to Elon from 2000 to 2008. The former couple met while studying at Queen's University in Ontario, Canada.

Even though Justine and Elon are no longer together, they share custody of their children. Unlike her ex-husband's high-profile lifestyle, the 49-year-old author has led a private life with her children.

Elon has a total of eight children. Unfortunately, he and Justine's firstborn son, Nevada Alexander, died at ten weeks from sudden infant death syndrome, or SIDS.

In addition to their twins Xavier and Griffin, the former couple also welcomed 16-year-old triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian. The triplets, all boys, were born in January 2006 by in vitro fertilization, or IVF.

Elon also has two children with Claire Elise Boucher, also known as Grimes, a Canadian singer and songwriter. They welcomed their son, X Æ A-Xii, in May 2020 and their daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl Musk, in December 2021.

Grimes and Elon fondly call their one-year-old son X and their six-month-old daughter Y. Although they have broken up, the 34-year-old musician revealed that she has described her relationship with Elon as "fluid."
