"The Umbrella Academy" star also added an item with a significant meaning to his outfit — a green rose. Many believe that the rose was an allusion to Oscar Wilde, a queer forefather and Irish poet who was persecuted for his sexuality in the 19th century.

Reports have it that Wilde was imprisoned and died in exile after facing charges of gross indecency and sodomy.

Later, Dr. Andrew Lear, a gay historian, founded Oscar Wilde Tours, a platform that shares the queer culture with the world. On the platform, Lear revealed that Wilde's love for green flowers began in 1892 at the premiere of his play "Lady Windermere's Fan."

According to Lear, Wilde asked one of the actors to wear a green carnation and asked some of his young fans to do the same. So, it is believed that Page's choice of the green rose was indeed significant.
