Sharon Stone was born to a disciplinarian father who worked in a factory, while his wife was a homemaker. They lived in Meadville, Pennsylvania, where they also raised their daughter.

Stone was an impressive student with a high IQ. But her interests lay in entertainment. Before adulthood, Stone became a top model and later branched into acting.

Fame came knocking in the 1990s following her appearance in "Total Recall," "Basic Instinct," and posing for raunchy photos for Playboy.

Amid enjoying the much-deserved fame, and celebrity lifestyle, Stone loves her life as an all-boys mom. The actress has three sons, all of whom were adopted.

Despite living in the limelight, the "Basic Instinct" star did not mind having a family. Following her second marriage to journalist Phil Bronstein, the couple decided to expand their family.

When it did not happen naturally, they opted for adoption, leading them to adopt their first and only child, Roan Joseph Bronstein, a few days after his birth.

In 2004, Roan's parents divorced, ensuing in a tough custody battle that took years of frequenting the court to settle. Four years later, the court granted Phil primary custody while his ex-wife gained visitation rights.

Since the second divorce, Stone has abandoned the marriage option, settling into life as a single parent instead. Her yearning for a growing family persisted, and in 2005, she adopted another son named Laird Vonne.

The following year, she welcomed her third adoptee, Quinn Kelly. With her hands full, the mother-of-three still manages to shuffle between caring for her kids and balancing her career, which is tasking, but she admits:

"I'm loving raising my kids. I've made humanitarian causes and my children much more my priority than the Hollywood scene, being liked and getting movie parts."

While Stone plays her part as the dolphin mom, her kids retaliate by making her a proud parent with their skills. Her eldest son, Roan, has a knack for acting and has appeared side by side with his mom in a movie.

His younger brother, Laird, is a constant feature on Stone's Instagram. Their mother has also described him as an outgoing person and a gifted runner. Laird often appears as his mother's date on the red carpet.

The family's youngest, Quinn, is not left out either; like his older siblings, he sometimes steps out to star-studded events with his mom. Quinn also possesses athletic skills, which the actress has gushed about.

DID SHARON STONE HAVE A MISCARRIAGE?

Before sharing her life with her little minions, Stone had difficulty believing she could conceive. She tried severally and, unfortunately, suffered nine miscarriages.

In a recent post updated by People, focusing on an exclusive interview with Peta Murgatroyd, who opened up about a miscarriage, the actress commented:

"We, as females don't have a forum to discuss the profundity of this loss. I lost nine children by miscarriage."

She explained that a miscarriage is a huge loss that takes a toll on the physical and emotional health of a woman. Stone called out society for making women feel they should bear such loss alone.

Somehow, she was able to handle her losses, and today, Stone is a strong woman and mother to three handsome young men with whom she shares an invaluable connection.
