IS VENUS WILLIAMS SINGLE?

In September 2021, Venus told Cosmopolitan that she was not only single but also "in love" with her freedom. Venus added that she has felt pressured by society to find a partner, but she has not let it influence her life.

Multiple friends would not believe her when she said she liked her life, had no wish to change it, and was not desperate to get romantically involved with someone. Venus added:

"They say things like, 'You're going to miss your window.' I'm like, 'Please, relax. You might feel this way, but I don't. I promise you I don't.'"

In March 2022, Venus confirmed she was not dating anyone twice. The first time she did was during a Q&A session on YouTube when she told one of her fans that she was single.

A week later, Venus attended the 2022 Oscars ceremony, where Access reporters asked her to choose her Beyoncé mood. The tennis star sang and danced to "Single Ladies," corroborating her single status. It is not like she has not dated anyone, though.

VENUS WILLIAMS' DATING HISTORY

The first man romantically linked to Venus was another athlete: retired professional golfer Hank Kuehne. The Dallas native kept his relationship with Venus under wraps, and they parted ways in 2010 after three years together.

After Kuehne, Venus dated Cuban model Elio Pis, and she was eight years his senior. The former couple joined forces on her clothing line, EleVen, but they only made their first public appearance as a couple at the 2012 New York Grand Slam.

Pis and Venus were spotted together multiple times, including at a Miami tennis court in March 2013. Unfortunately, they parted ways in 2017.

Later that year, Venus began dating Nicholas Hammond, the heir to a communications empire that includes TV Guide and Seventeen.

Venus and Hammond were not shy about showing public displays of affection during their relationship. Unfortunately, they broke up after supposedly dating for two years.

They never addressed why they parted ways, but sources claimed Venus, 12 years Hammond's senior, wanted to walk down the aisle, but he did not. Another insider said their relationship "ran its course," and they remained friends.

Venus's love life made headlines again in May 2021 after she allegedly began dating junior Wimbledon champion and Red Bull ambassador Reilly Opelka, 17 years younger than Venus.

After Opelka and Venus practiced together in Miami in April 2021, she began commenting on his Instagram posts. In some cases, she even included red-heart emojis. They never confirmed their relationship, though.
