2012: MEETING A "WEIRDO"

Although the "Moon Knight" star prefers to keep most details of his life away from the spotlight, he has shared pieces of information about his and Lind's love story.

One of the reasons Isaac's performance as Llewyn Davis in the 2013 film "Inside Llewyn Davis" was so outstanding was that he would go to parties dressed as his folk singer character.

He attended a party one month before filming started, but instead of talking to others, he just sat in a corner and ate food. A woman he initially described as a "documentary filmmaker" sat next to him a while later, and they talked for a long time.

Isaac added that the filmmaker (later revealed to be Lind) spotted the "weirdo" in the room and went straight to him. He joked that she was probably disappointed after learning that he was in character preparing for his film.

However, Lind later confessed that her favorite dress played a role in her and Isaac's relationship as it helped "lure" him, meaning she was also interested.

2013: FIRST TIME WORKING TOGETHER

One of the best aspects of dating a fellow entertainer is that you can work with them, and that's what Lind and Isaac did one year after their first meeting.

In 2013, Lind created the "Staircase Sessions," where she filmed musicians performing in stairwells. Isaac is a talented singer and guitar player, so she included him in four of the project's 13 videos.

Isaac and Lind have not shared the exact date they began dating, but we do know when they first went public as a couple: January 10, 2016.

Their relationship was confirmed hours later when he kissed Lind before walking up to the stage to accept his Best Actor in a Miniseries or Television Film award for "Show Me A Hero." Before that kiss, nobody knew Isaac had a girlfriend.

FEBRUARY-MARCH 2017: WEDDING AND PREGNANCY NEWS

Lind and Isaac's relationship didn't make headlines again until January 2018, when he revealed that they had quietly tied the knot in March 2017.

The "Ex Machina" star confessed to having multiple reasons to marry Lind. After saying that Danes didn't "believe" in marriage, Isaac pointed out that Lind was not an American citizen when she got pregnant (it was also the first time he talked about her pregnancy).

Isaac added that they wanted to figure out where they would be able to raise their child and become more of a family. He explained:

"Right before [the wedding], my mom was ill, and so I saw [Lind] carrying my child, bathing my sick mom — seeing her do that, I just thought: 'I want to be with this person forever and ever.'"

Isaac said his mother, María Eugenia Estrada, passed away in February 2017, and he married Lind the following month. However, Lind celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary on February 23, 2022, so the couple has different timelines for their wedding.

APRIL 2017: WELCOMING THEIR CHILD

Lind and Isaac's son, Eugene, joined the family in April 2017. The boy has made a few cameos on his mom's Instagram account, but Lind ensures his face is never seen.

The couple named their son after Isaac's late mother, whose middle name was Eugenia. Since Eugene was born weeks after the wedding, Isaac and Lind postponed their honeymoon. In late 2017, they went to the Caribbean.

Isaac also revealed that he performed "Hamlet" at the Public Theater in New York shortly after Eugene was born. He called Lind an "incredible woman" for caring for their newborn while he was working.

The actor admitted that doing "Hamlet" was "physically overwhelming" as he had to perform six shows a week. He spent almost all the time he was not on stage resting his voice.

OCTOBER 2019: A BIGGER FAMILY

After Eugene's birth, the couple stayed out of the news for several months. In October 2019, they welcomed their second son, Mads. Like many other celebrities, they didn't reveal his name immediately.

Isaac attracted a lot of attention in September 2021 after stroking, kissing, and smelling "Scenes From a Marriage" co-star Jessica Chastain's arm. The unexpected display of affection happened during the film's premiere at the Venice Film Festival.

Rather than getting jealous, Isaac's wife laughed. Chastain later explained that she and Isaac attended Juilliard together and had been friends for over two decades.

She added that they were both married to other people – Chastain and Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo tied the knot in 2017 and also have two kids – so nothing romantic happened between them.

FEBRUARY 2022: COORDINATED OUTFITS

Lind and Isaac proved their relationship was strong in February 2022 when they attended the Screen Actors Guild Awards in coordinated pink outfits.

MARCH 2022: "MOON KNIGHT" PREMIERE

Isaac and Lind's 2022 has been quite busy. One month after attending the SAG Awards, they posed together at the "Moon Knight" premiere in Los Angeles.

The Guatemalan star portrays a man with a dissociative identity disorder that goes by Marc Spector and Steven Grant. Thanks to the Egyptian moon god Khonshu, he acquires supernatural abilities.

Isaac revealed that his brother, Michael Benjamin Hernandez, played his body double in the Disney+ series. He pointed out that Hernandez was the "closest thing" to him on Earth. He was also proud that his brother even did Steven's English accent.

MAY 2022: GRACING THE MET GALA

Lind and Isaac proved that they love fashion with the striking outfits they wore for the 2022 Met Gala. The filmmaker wore black pants, a white shirt and bowtie, and a black suit jacket.
