Most of us know Grammy Award-winning musician Natalie Renée McIntrye as Macy Gray. She was born in the blue-collar town of Canton, Ohio, and grew up with a sister and two brothers.
One of those brothers is Nate McIntyre, who attracted much attention after being one of the season five heroes of Netflix's "Queer Eye." None of the show's five hosts knew they were family.

HOW DID NATE MCINTYRE REVEAL HE IS MACY GRAY'S BROTHER?
Season five of "Queer Eye" showed the Fab Five – Antoni Porowski, Tan France, Karamo Brown, Bobby Berk, and Jonathan Van Ness – helping ten heroes improve their lives.

When Antoni entered Nate's bedroom, he saw a wall plaque with Macy's album. After saying it was the "cleanest thing" in the room, Antoni wondered why Nate's name was on it. He said:
"My sister is Macy Gray. There was a [point] where I used to travel on the road with her."
WHAT DO WE KNOW ABOUT NATE MCINTYRE FROM "QUEER EYE?"
When Nate appeared on "Queer Eye" in June 2020, he was 44 years old. His situation stood out as Antoni discovered moldy food in his fridge and even joked that the jars in his freezer were similar to the "cast resin thing" Han Solo got stuck in one of the "Star Wars" films.
Nate's furniture game didn't impress Bobby, and Jonathan got the surprise of a lifetime when he saw the bathroom. The gym owner spent so much time focusing on keeping his business alive that he forgot to care for himself.
Nate appeared to rekindle things with his ex-girlfriend Kristin. However, she got engaged to someone else.
Even his relationships suffered. Luckily, his ex-girlfriend Kristin and two clients nominated him for the Netflix show, and the Fab Five helped him realize that he had to change his life before helping his clients.
Throughout the episode, we learned that Nate had insecurities about his age and society's expectations of him as an African-American man. Luckily, the "Queer Eye" team helped him overcome them.
Nate also confessed that Macy was not the only singer in the family – he is also a musician whose moniker is Killer Whale. Although his mother, Laura, and sister, Nehlia, were by his side at the end of the episode, Macy was nowhere to be seen.
Unfortunately, the coronavirus pandemic forced Nate to close his gym temporarily. Still, he stayed connected to his community through his Instagram page.
He even launched an online series called "Getting the Bag" to teach his followers how to exercise with sandbags. He specifically chose sandbags because they are convenient and affordable tools to work out with from home.
After a while, Nate realized that exercising in an empty gym was quite lonely, so he invited a breakdancing instructor, a yogi, and a hip-hop dancer from his area to join him.
Nate admitted he wanted to create a "Queer Eye"-like team of trainers and combine the best of hip-hop culture with the best of fitness culture.
