Erika Jayne Cursed at Garcelle Beauvais's Son, 14, after Improving Relationship with Her Child amid Divorce
Erika Jayne received a lot of backlash for cursing at Garcelle Beauvais' 14-year-old son. The boy let his mom know he was fine, but Beauvais did not let it slide. This ended up causing a major rift at the party.
There's a lot of heat on Erika Jayne right now because she was seen cursing Garcelle Beauvais' teenage son, Jax, during his mom's birthday party last week.
Jayne, who was seemingly drunk, had insulted Jax after he took some flowers from a table close to Jayne during the party, and the moment was captured in a sneak peek share ahead of Wednesday's episode of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
In the clip, Jayne was seen asking Jax what he was doing there and then told him to leave. Jax quickly left and when he found his mom, he told her how he had been “violated for grabbing flowers.”
Jayne’s reaction to Jax did not sit right with Beauvais, even though he assured her that he was fine, so she approached Jayne to call her out for hurting her boy’s feelings. Jayne seemed shocked that Beauvais was incensed by her statement, but she remained at the venue while the angry mom and her sons left.
BEAUVAIS' AND NETIZENS' REACTIONS TO THE ACCIDENT
In the aftermath of the confrontation, many netizens took to social media to lash out at Jayne for swearing at a child. Some claimed that regardless of how intoxicated she may have been, she should never have cursed at Jax, while others said that Beauvais had been too soft with her reaction.
Tommy gave her good advice while they were talking about her divorce from Girardi and did not "sugarcoat" things for her.
On Wednesday, Beauvais took to her Instagram page to praise her children for their good behaviors. In her appreciation post, the proud mother wrote:
"You boys make me so proud… you are loving, kind, and respectful. You show respect to people even when they don't deserve it. Respect is a reflection of your character, not theirs."
Jax is one of Beauvais' twin boys. His siblings include his older brother Oliver Saunders and his twin Jaid Thomas Nilon. Oliver is from Beauvais's first marriage to producer Daniel Saunders while she welcomed her twins with her second husband Mike Nilon.
AS IT TURNED OUT, JAYNE HAD PROBLEMS WITH HER HUSBAND
Erika Jayne's outburst may have resulted from personal issues she had been going through these past few months.
In a previous episode of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," Beauvais observed that Jayne has been overly chatty to avoid attracting the cast's attention to her ongoing legal situation with her estranged husband, Tom Girardi.
Jayne met her first husband, Thomas, when she was 19, and he was 26. She fell for his physique and swagger, and they dated for six months before she gave birth to her son, Tommy. The pair got married in December 1991 and welcomed their boy in June of the following year.
The union lasted until 1996 before they went their separate ways. In her memoir, "Pretty Mess," she blamed herself for the split and admitted that while she was a good mom, she lacked as a wife. She wrote:
"Tommy bore the brunt of that. It was this constant pressure and it was hard for both of us to take. We broke up when my son was a little more than 18 months old. I came out of a divorced home. I did what I knew, which was to take my son and leave."

Three years after her divorce, she met Tom Girardi, who was more than three decades her senior, while she was working at Chasen's restaurant in Los Angeles. She slipped him her phone number one night, and he had his secretary reach out to her.
She let the messenger know that he needed to make the appointment himself and six months later, they were engaged. Jayne filed for divorce in 2020, and they have been estranged ever since.
JAYNE'S LEGAL WOES
Jayne's relationship with Girardi has led to many scandals that rekindled the interest of many in season 11 of "RHOBH." After their split in 2020, Girardi was accused of pocketing millions from his client's settlement funds to support her expensive tastes.
There were also speculations on what she knew about the collapse of his now-defunct law firm. Since the law firm's investigation began, over 600 claims from former clients, firm employees, and fellow attorneys reportedly exceed $495 million.
Findings revealed that Jayne had been receiving "lottery payments" from Girardi's firm for years, but her lawyer claims the payments were mailed to the firm which had been handling her finances and that she had no idea she was receiving them.
It has been a difficult time for the reality TV star, but if there is one silver lining in everything, it's that the situation has brought her closer to her son Tommy Zizzo.
In one of her "RHOBH" confessionals, she revealed that Tommy gave her good advice while discussing her divorce from Girardi and did not "sugarcoat" things for her.
Jayne said that Tommy told her not to let what was happening to define her life and urged her to clear her name and then call him later. In another interview, she said:
"My son's been amazing and I will say this: The silver lining to all this [expletive] is that our relationship is stronger."
Tommy's father, Thomas Zizzo, has also been very supportive, and according to Jayne, they are all on good terms. She revealed in the past that she maintains a close relationship with Thomas and his mother and that she is very grateful for their bond.
Besides him and their son, her "RHOBH" castmates have also been kind enough to show her support as she weathers the legal storm and her fans hope that things get better for her in the future.
