Tommy Zizzo Is Erika Jayne’s Son Who Is an LAPD Graduate

Tommy Zizzo Jr. or Thomas Jr. is Erika Jayne's son whom she welcomed while married to her first husband, Thomas Zizzo. The star's son decided to pursue law enforcement, causing rifts between his mother and her social media followers.

Besides being a well-known musician, television personality, and actress, Erika Jayne is a mother to one child with her first husband, Thomas Zizzo. Erika Jayne's son, Thomas Zizzo Jr., a.k.a. Tommy Jr., hardly features in her social media posts, except on very rare occasions.

For instance, in September 2020, she uploaded a throwback picture of him on Instagram, which Erika revealed was taken on New Year's Day during their trip to Tanzania, Africa.

Erika said the trip was one of their favorites, and she urged people to show their children the world by traveling with them. While his mother got into the entertainment industry, Tommy Jr. chose a different route.

Tommy Zizzo Jr. Is a Policeman

Unlike Erika, Tommy Jr. opted for a career in law enforcement by becoming a policeman. On November 10, 2014, the Jersey City Police Activity League (JCPAL) uploaded an image of Tommy on X (formerly Twitter), congratulating the former explorer for graduating from the Los Angeles Police Department Academy.

In the image, he wore his police uniform, complete with the hat. Speaking in a past interview about her son's career path, Erika confessed she was proud of him for joining law enforcement but noted that it could be stressful.

The television star, who celebrated her July 10th birthday with a throwback photo of herself as a little girl, noted how dangerous her son's profession is. Tommy Jr.'s mother said she knew from when he started walking and talking that he'd become a policeman, adding:

"That's all he's ever wanted and that's kind of your role as a parent is to honor who your children really are."

While little is known about Tommy Jr.'s life, Erika once defended her son on social media when his profession came under fire.

In June 2020, Erika uploaded a black screen as an Instagram photo to show support for the Black Lives Matter and Black Out Tuesday movements. However, in response, one person reminded her that her son was a police officer.

The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star jumped back to defend him, stating Tommy Jr. wasn't brought up to be racist. She insisted that his job was to serve and protect everyone and not only people who shared the same skin color as him.

Erika ended her tirade by swearing at the poster and demanding they get off her page. The star followed up by sharing comments on her Instagram Story from people who supported her message. The post has since been deleted.

In a Bravo interview, Tommy Jr.'s mother delved into the type of relationship they had. She said she didn't meddle much in his personal life and didn't have any demands over who he dates because he's a grown man, noting:

"He has good judgment, and he has a great head on his shoulders."

Tommy Jr.'s mother shared that she believed whoever he dates would be lovely. Erika didn't want to control his life, knowing he was doing well alone. The "Pretty Mess" author revealed that she was a present mother until Tommy Jr. became a teenager, when she finally found the time to pursue performing as a passion.
