Jennifer Garner Privately Dating Man Who She 'Could Not Commit' to Marrying While Ben Affleck Dates JLo Again

While her divorce from Ben Affleck was public, Jennifer Garner has since kept her dating life private. The "13 Going on 30" star is happy to date a man out of the Hollywood limelight, which is different from what she had with Affleck.

When Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announced their separation, it caused an internet frenzy. The news came at an odd time that fans did not see coming. Garner and Affleck shared this just a day after their 10th anniversary.

Shortly after, the tabloids were flooded with rumors that their marriage ended because of Affleck's affair with the family nanny. The allegations became a trendy topic that gained the name "Nannygate."

However, in an interview with Vanity Fair, Garner stopped the rumors and confirmed that the nanny was not why they broke up. Garner said that she and Affleck had been separated for months before the news broke.

Although, the actress admitted that losing a nanny was disruptive to the kids' life because of the time it takes to build a trusting relationship. Garner also revealed that the rumors caused her children a lot of confusion and distress. The actress said she was asked to explain the meaning of "a scandal" to her children.

In a 2021 interview Affleck had with Howard Stern, the actor said he started developing a drinking problem because he "felt trapped" in his marriage with Garner. This was another part of the exes' lives that had everyone talking.

After the interview, there was much speculation on how Garner felt about what her ex-husband had said; however, Hollywood Life reported that the actress was unbothered by what was said because she knew Alfeck more than anyone, and she knew he did not say anything to hurt her.

A source also told Hollywoodlife that Garner is confident and takes everything with a grain of salt. Garner and Affleck share three kids, Violet, 16; Seraphina, 12; and Samuel, 9.

All the drama surrounding the divorce left Garner with the option to unplug and step away from engaging with the media.

Garner's decision to stay off the grid made Affleck feel like the actress did not care about how their relationship was displayed on the internet. However, Garner told Vanity Fair that her decision actually meant the opposite. She explained:

“I cannot be driven by the optics of this. I cannot let anger or hurt be my engine. I need to move with the big picture always on my mind, and the kids first and foremost.”

Miller is no one in the film industry, but he's a businessman and CEO of Caliburger and its parent company Caliburger Group. Miller was married to violinist Caroline Campell from 2005 until they finalized their divorce in 2018. Campell and Miller also have two daughters together.

After two years of dating, it was revealed that Garner and Miller had decided to call it quits. According to US magazine, Miller wanted marriage, and Garner was not yet ready for that kind of commitment. But alas, the split was very amicable.

Just a few months after breaking up, Garner and Miller decided to give their relationship another try and became even stronger. The couple's friends have also approved of their relationship.

Garner does not need the media’s validation to know that Miller is right for her, reports US Magazine.

One of Garner's close friends, Victor Garber, who she acted alongside on "Alias" as his daughter and officiated her and Afflecks wedding, said the "Love Simone" star was "really happy." Garber added that Miller was "adorable” and perfect for his costar.

Around the new year of 2019, an unexpected but sweet movement of PDA was captured between Garner and Miller. The image shows the actress hugging her CEO boyfriend from behind and Miller turning back to give her a kiss.

Affleck and Jennifer Lopez rekindled their love. The actors were one of Hollywood's biggest couples when they started dating back in 2002 as stars of the film "Gigli." Almost two decades later, Lopez and Affleck gave their relationship another shot.

After all that went down between Affleck and Garner, the actress said she doesn't hate the father of her kids and does not expect anyone to hate him on her behalf. Garner understands that the divorce took on toll on him.
