Ivana Trump's 3 Grown-up Kids Mourned the 'Incredible Woman' Who Raised Them as Single Mom
The world mourned Ivana Trump, a woman who rose from being a mere immigrant to building a business empire. Besides her titles as a renowned businesswoman, former model, book author, and health enthusiast, she is also a loving mother and grandmother.
Ivana Trump passed on after suffering from a cardiac arrest. TMZ reported that a female staff entered her Manhattan home and found her lying on the right side of her second-floor stairs, unresponsive.
A day earlier, she had dropped by her favorite restaurant Altesi Ristorante, where she ordered a "very, very small amount of food." The owner Paola Alavian recalled them having an everyday conversation.

Nothing seemed out of the norm, and they chatted for a while, as they always did whenever she visited. However, he also disclosed that Ivana appeared exhausted despite looking healthy. He told The Sun amid tears:
"Her health seemed normal, she looked maybe a little bit tired, but she otherwise seemed OK."
WHO WAS IVANA TRUMP?
Ivana was a world-class athlete, a caring mother and friend, and a force to reckon with in business circles. However, she did not always start at the top. She worked through the ups and downs to achieve her American Dream.

Born in the current-day Czech Republic, Ivana's father was an electrical engineer and her mother a telephone operator. After college, she met and wed Austrian ski instructor Alfred Winklmayr. Despite the union failing, it helped her attain an Austrian passport.
She then moved to Canada and settled in Montreal, where she worked as a ski instructor and, later, a model. One time in 1976, during one of her modeling gigs in New York City, she met her future husband, Donald Trump.

Ivana remembered Trump as intelligent and funny and an all-American guy. They exchanged vows in 1977 and became parents soon after welcoming their three babies, Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka, and Eric Trump.
Ivanka was a doting mom to her children, and despite being a successful businesswoman, she considered motherhood one of her most outstanding achievements. The love she shared with her children is evident in the commemoration they gave her after her passing.
Ivana took to Twitter to pay tribute to her beloved mother, referring to her as "brilliant, charming, passionate and wickedly funny." She remembered her mother's incredible life and how she would not pass up an opportunity to dance and laugh.
Eric remembered her as a wonderful woman and a survivor who fled communism in her home country and made a home in the US. He reminisced about the life lessons they learned from their mother, writing:
"She taught her children about grit and toughness, compassion, and determination. She will be dearly missed by her mother, her three children, and ten grandchildren.
The bond between Ivana and her children was undeniable yet unsurprising. Ivana said their bond was their most valuable possession, and it was easy to see why.
Even as she climbed the career rungs to become one of the most admirable businesswomen, she did not hang her mothering coat. From when her babies were young, they would tag along with her to work and experience firsthand how she worked and commanded respect from her employees.
Asked about the secret to her parenting, Ivana disclosed that there was no magic recipe. She told her kids always to do the right thing and encouraged them to get involved in sporting activities and to be competitive. She also made them all-rounded by introducing them to the arts and the different cultures.
She taught them to be determined and diligent in everything they did. She said: "I told the kids not to lie, cheat or steal. Don't smoke, do drugs, or drink."

After work, she would sit with them at dinner and help with their homework before slipping into a Versace gown and rushing off to a charity event. She shared:
"The kids and I celebrated, traveled, and grieved together."

Do not be mistaken. Raising three children while working was not a walk in the park. Ivana admitted that it was hard, even though she had plenty of help from her nannies.
Ivana admitted to being in charge of raising the kids before she and Trump divorced and even after their split, as she had sole custody. She made the tough decisions about all aspects of their lives, including learning, schools, travel plans, and allowances. She recalled:
"When each one finished college, I said to my ex-husband, 'Here's the finished product. Now, it's your turn.'"

While that kind of parenting could have gone wrong on many levels, Ivana appears to have done a fantastic job. Today, her sons are remarkable family men who co-run a multi-million company.
On the other hand, Ivanka was a wife, mother, clothes business owner, and author who actively works to improve women's and children's lives.
The three have repeatedly received praise for their intelligence, poise, dedication, and confidence. Others consider them to be Trump's finest accomplishments.

Being in the limelight and from a broken marriage, the Trump kids' lives could have gone wrong. Fortunately, according to Ivana, they grew up to be wholesome adults that she is immensely proud of.
Donald Trump Jr., Ivana, and Trump's first child began working at his father's company after college and is the author of two books, which have seen him make the New York Times bestsellers list.

Away from his work achievements, he is also a family man. He married model Vanessa Trump in 2005 and together welcomed their five children; Donald III, Kai, Spencer, Tristan, and Chloe.
Unfortunately, their marriage ended in 2018. Donald Jr. then found love again with Kimberly Guilfoyle, and the father of five recently announced their engagement.

After completing her higher studies, Ivanka joined Donald Jr. at the Trump Organization. However, she followed her passion for fashion, launched her clothing, jewelry, and shoe business, and ventured into modeling.
She was also one of her father's advisors during his presidency. She married her husband Jared Kushner in 2009, and the two share three children Arabella, Joseph, and Theodore.
Eric is the youngest of the Trump-Ivana children, and like his siblings, he also worked at the Trump Organization. He is also a family man and married his wife, Lara Trump, in 2014. The pair is blessed with two babies, Carolina and Eric.
