Grace Fan DeVito comes from a family of famous Hollywood actors, but she is a star in her own right through the work she puts into her job.

Being born to Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman allowed her to have a vast network in the entertainment industry, yet she refrained from using her parents to pursue a career.

Grace, or Gracie as she is known, still joined show business, but unlike the rest of her family, she works as a film producer behind the scenes.

DANNY DEVITO'S LESSER-KNOWN DAUGHTER, GRACE

Working behind the camera meant that Grace's name was less known to the public. However, she is known amongst people in her industry as a great movie producer and a Master of Fine Arts degree-holder.

At 21, Grace worked on her first film in the comedy genre, "My Girlfriend's Abroad." The movie revolved around a college student's struggle to stay faithful to his girlfriend abroad. The following year, in 2007, she worked on a short drama, "Bloom," which starred her mom.

It wasn't until 2015 that Grace tested the waters as an actress and appeared in the horror film "Amboy." She also tried voice acting in 2017, lending her vocals in the cartoon sitcom "Jeff and Some Aliens."

Grace grew up with the guidance of talented and kind parents who showed compassion for others. Although Danny and Rhea starred as unlikely fan favorites in "Matilda," they were heroes behind the scenes.

Grace is undoubtedly a multi-talented woman, but her artistic side is not limited to film and television. She is also a contemporary artist who had work displayed in art galleries. Her talents amassed a total net worth of $2 million for the young producer.

GRACE FAN DEVITO'S RELATIONSHIP WITH HER PARENTS

Since her job does not require as much attention, Grace prefers to live a quiet, private life away from the limelight. However, this does not stop her from supporting her parents and attending red carpet events with her family.

In 2013, she accompanied her mom to the "CBGB" Special Screening, and in 2019, she attended the premiere of "Poms" alongside her mother and sister. With her mom and brother, Grace also went to Disney's live-action film "Dumbo" premiere the same year. Grace's dad was cast as Medici.

Grace continues to have a good relationship with her parents despite their separation. Danny and Rhea first parted ways in 2012 but gave their relationship another shot. However, after four decades of being together, they officially called it quits in 2017.

Despite being separated, the former couple supports each other and focuses on their children's well-being. According to Rhea, she and Danny will never get a divorce. The years since have proved that their only focus has been family and career. Rhea said:

"We've been together a very long time, so there's a lot of love and history. We agree on enough things, so why [ruin] that with the yucky things that come with a divorce?"

GRACE FAN DEVITO'S SIBLINGS

Grace has two siblings: Jake, the only son of her parents, and Lucy, her older sister. Jake was born on October 10, 1987, making him the youngest of three children. Like his parents, he became an actor known for appearing in "Pieces of a Dream" and "Amboy."

Jake also worked behind the scenes as the producer of "Fair Chase," "Wererock," "Curmudgeons," and "Quicksand," among others. He also worked in the camera, sound, and electrical film departments. Despite being a public figure, Jake managed to keep his personal life away from the spotlight.

On the other hand, his sister Lucy, born on March 11, 1983, also pursued a career in the entertainment industry. She has appeared in several films and television shows, including "Can You Ever Forgive Me?," "Shameless," "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel," and "Deadbeat," among others.

She has also worked behind the scenes as a producer for "Curmudgeons" and "Little Demon." As for her personal life, it is unknown whether Lucy has walked down the aisle to marry.

Lucy, Jake, and Grace all grew up with the guidance of talented and kind parents who showed compassion for others. Although Danny and Rhea starred as unlikely fan favorites in the hit movie "Matilda," they were heroes in their own way behind the scenes.

The actress who starred as the titular character, Mara Wilson, was cast as the lead role while her mother got diagnosed with breast cancer. Back then, she was only eight years old, making the news difficult.

As her on-screen parents, Danny and Rhea were rude and mean. However, when the cameras stopped rolling, they became her second parents. The duo looked after Wilson when her parents needed to be in the hospital.

"I was eight years old. It was very hard, and they were very nice," Wilson wrote in her memoir. "While my mom was sick and in the hospital, they would invite me over and take care of me and get my mind off things. I felt very familial."

Sadly, Wilson's mother passed away before the movie was finished and did not get to fulfill her final wish of seeing her daughter play Matilda. However, it wasn't until years later that Wilson discovered that Danny showed her mom a rough cut of the movie shortly before her passing.

Grace's parents played a significant role during Wilson's darkest days. Knowing that her parents were kind-hearted to others undoubtedly inspired Grace and her siblings to follow suit.
