Alexandra Edenborough became known when she married the famous English actor and filmmaker Gary Oldman in 2008. She became his fourth wife, and at the time, the actor hoped it would be his last marriage.

Although it was not his last, Edenborough has since carried on with her life, and at 44, she is still in the business of making a name for herself, thanks to her fleets of talents! She is a talented singer, songwriter, designer, and entrepreneur. But what more do we know about Oldman's former younger wife?

ALEXANDRA EDENBOROUGH IS A MUSICIAN AND DESIGNER FROM ENGLAND

Edenborough's birthplace is London; she was born on March 22, 1978, and raised between two cities: Chelsea and Somerset. Her talents include singing, playing the piano, and whisking up incredible tunes while recording. Some of her songs are "Then into Blue," "Stardusting," and "Burning."

The music wiz never gets tired of sharing her bird voice with friends and fans. Edenborough confessed that she loves to perform, especially in serene atmospheres like her private space, a friend's home, or a cafe.

This comes as no surprise as the genre she practices is known as jazz/electronica, which is often played in natural and peaceful environments.

After years of traveling around the world, Edenborough started a home decor business focusing on ceramic and linens. She also runs an active Instagram page, sharing images and sensational designs. While describing her business, she said:

"I have just created a home line called Æt Home…I have always been passionate about design and lifestyle... It's a curation of things I love, would have in my home, and an overall lifestyle brand that reflects an environment I tend to create with friends and family, whether at home or away."

Despite having a lot on her plate, the busy bee still enjoys herself with a pool of hobbies. Edenborough mentioned that she engages in a lot of activities whenever time permits.

This includes "listening to and going to see music, beach walks, cooking, more recently gardening, having a casual dinner at the house with friends, arranging flowers, movies, pouring over design books and magazines."

While Edenborough may have a padded resumé and many words to describe who she is, the loudest title is Gary Oldman's fourth ex-wife, as the marriage brought her to the forefront of publicity.

6 YEARS OF MARRIAGE TO GARY OLDMAN

Oldman said, "I do," for the fourth time in a New Year's Eve wedding to Edenborough. This became her first marriage. During their years as a couple, they were photographed numerous times, enjoying a swell time in each other's company. It looked like the perfect romance with a happy ending: a successful actor with an attractive younger wife.

In 2012, Oldman and his fourth wife were spotted having a lovey-dovey moment while vacationing on the Caribbean Island of St. Barts. The "True Romance" actor looked youthful the following year as they spent a casual lunch date with his then-35-year-old wife.

While they were thrilled to have each other in their lives, the former couple talked about having a child. Oldman revealed that they would have loved to raise their child between two countries if it had happened.

Although the couple lived in America, it appeared that they were still passionate about passing down their childhood culture experienced in Europe to their offspring.

Unfortunately, it never happened. In 2014, Edenborough filed for divorce, and it was finalized in 2015. The singer received $3.3 million, alongside some of their assets, including their homes and automobiles, that were shared.

Irrespective of the considerable divorce settlement, sources confirmed that the former couple remained friends. Oldman later talked about the reason behind their separation. In his words:

"Alex and I had several great years together, and we shared a great love during that time, but there is big difference in our ages and ultimately that gap inevitably revealed different lifestyle interests."

The "The Dark Knight" star admitted that he was unhappy about the split but thankful for the memories they created. He said, "we remain friends. Of course I wish Alex the best of happiness in the future."

ALEXANDRA EDENBOROUGH'S LIFE AFTER DIVORCE

Following her failed marriage, Edenborough found love in the arms of another Hollywood star: actor/producer Andrew Gray McDonnell. McDonnell is in awe of his lover, and sometimes, he shares posts to gush on the beautiful and ageless singer.

Although they are not yet married, they share a son named Jasper Gray, born on January 8, 2017. The 5-year-old already has an Instagram account where his parents share his highlights. The bio reads "inventor, collector, and connoisseur of vacuums."

Jasper has over a hundred followers, and the posts attract a few likes and comments. However, his biggest fans remain his parents. A few years ago, when her son was only three years old, Edenborough cheerfully shared her experience as a mother. She said:

"It's a fun age and he's getting more independent by the day. He makes me laugh constantly, and his obsession in life is vacuums... I'm wondering when and if he'll grow out of this phase... I can't imagine life now without him for one."

Amid being a mother and lover, Edenborough is living her best days as a busy singer, ever willing to record with a colleague because she prefers "working with people" as "two minds are better than one!" She is also an accomplished designer, constantly pushing her brand by updating fans with the most creative home decor.
