Keeping a long and healthy marriage in Hollywood is complex, and "Invictus" star Morgan Freeman knows it firsthand. He has been married twice, and both marriages ended in divorce.

MORGAN FREEMAN'S FIRST WIFE, JEANETTE ADAIR BRADSHAW

Jeanette Adair Bradshaw became Morgan's first wife in 1967, but he already had a rich romantic life and two children by the time they walked down the aisle.

In 1959, Morgan and his then-partner, Loletha Adkins, welcomed Alfonso Freeman. Only one year later, he had his second child, Saifoulaye Freeman, with a mysterious woman whose identity has yet to be revealed.

Like Morgan, Bradshaw also had a child from a previous relationship when they married. Her name was E'dena Hines, and the "Million Dollar Baby" star didn't hesitate and adopted her. More on Hines and her tragic death later.

Most couples would have considered that a blended family of five would have been enough, but Morgan and Bradshaw wanted their own kids, so they welcomed Morgana Freeman.

Bradshaw and Morgan's marriage didn't stand the test of time, and they parted ways in 1979. The former couple has rarely spoken about each other in public, and the details of their separation remain unclear.

However, sources claimed that Morgan's alleged affairs were to blame. After their divorce, Bradshaw stayed away from the spotlight.

MORGAN FREEMAN'S SECOND WIFE, MYRNA COLLEY-LEE

The next woman to hold the title of Morgan Freeman's wife was Myrna Colley-Lee. She married him in 1984 and stayed by his side for 26 years.

Although the former couple never had kids together, Colley-Lee had a loving relationship with all of Morgan's children and grandchildren. Even after they divorced in 2010, Colley-Lee remained close to them.

The multiple infidelity accusations against Morgan were too much to bear.

During Morgan and Colley-Lee's decades-long romance, she would join him at galas and Hollywood events. Colley-Lee also found success in the entertainment industry.

Instead of giving acting a try like her ex-husband, she became a renowned costume designer. Apart from working for important film production companies, she landed jobs in theater plays.

Colley-Lee did such an incredible job that she took home the National Black Theatre Festival Award for Outstanding Costume Design and the Winona Lee Fletcher Award for Outstanding Achievement as a Designer from the Black Theatre Network.

If having a successful career in showbiz wasn't hard enough, Colley-Lee also serves on the Mississippi State University Department of Art board and dedicates much of her time to the Rock River Foundation.

As an art enthusiast, she creates and collects art and has helped to organize an art gallery for the Columbus Museum in Georgia, mainly focusing on art linked to the Afro-American population.

Although most fans were convinced that Morgan and Colley-Lee would be together forever, she filed for divorce. They tried to work things out for years, but the multiple infidelity accusations against Morgan were too much to bear.

The former couple got into a headline-grabbing legal battle for three years. Colley-Lee was determined to get what she considered owed for being with Morgan for almost three decades, and he kept denying the affair allegations.

Colley-Lee and Morgan's divorce ended in 2010, and she reportedly got $400 million and a few properties she and Morgan acquired during their time together.

MORGAN FREEMAN AND LORI MCCREARY

No other woman has been Morgan Freeman's wife after Colley-Lee, but he has not given up on love yet. The "Bruce Almighty" star is in a relationship with producer Lori McCreary.

Morgan once revealed that when they met, she had a short dress. He explained that McCreary didn't want to be thought of as a pretty face but as a serious person. However, "you can't get away from the short dresses."

Hines and Morgan made headlines after a news piece accused him of having an affair with her.

McCreary is a former tech entrepreneur who joined forces with Morgan to create Freeman of Revelations Entertainment, the production company she also serves as CEO.

Morgan described his partner, who is also the president emeritus of the Producers Guild of America, as a good person and a workaholic. On the other hand, she labeled him as a trustworthy man.

In June 2019, the couple looked in love at the AFI event in Hollywood, a ceremony that honored Denzel Washington. Morgan opted for a classic look and wore a black tuxedo and bowtie perfectly combined with his aviator sunglasses and shoes.

McCreary also turned heads her way with her navy dress and sheer wrap that featured pink on the bottom. Morgan and McCreary smiled and posed for the cameras on the red carpet before entering the venue.

Their presence at the event attracted some attention as it happened six months after Lamar Davenport, the man arrested for killing Morgan's step-daughter E'dena Hines in August 2015, was sentenced to 20 years behind bars.

Davenport and Hines were a couple at the time of the crime. He was acquitted of second-degree murder but found guilty of first-degree manslaughter.

In 2009, Hines and Morgan Freeman made headlines after a news piece accused him of having an affair with her. They both denied the allegations, with Morgan pointing out that it was "defamatory fabrications" with the sole intent of selling papers. Rest in peace, Hines.
