Shanna Evans, Chris Evans's sister, recently married, and her famous brother was the Man of Honor. Learn more about Chris's quiet sister and their close relationship.

Shanna Evans was adopted into the renowned Evans family; she sometimes goes by the nicknames Garnett Black or Garnett Beswick. The sister was born on August 24, 1964, in Queens in New York City. According to IMDB, like her famous brother Chris Evans, she is also an actress.

However, despite the exposure her profession may entail, Shanna prefers to remain out of the spotlight. She has a private Instagram, with only 94 posts and 121 followers, and also has no listing of her acting credits on IMDB.

While Chris is one of the most in-demand actors in Hollywood, he is not the only one in her family who is well known. His brother Scott Evans is another actor and producer who played in films such as "One Life to Live" and "Grace & Frankie."

Their sister, Carly or Carolyn M. Evans, also chose this path, known for the 1984 film"The Bill. She is also a drama teacher at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School in Boston, Massachusetts.

Chris is family orientated; when acting in the movie "Jacob," he felt happy because the set was close to home and his immediate relatives. He said:

"I'd sleep in my own bed; I'd see my family on weekends. A lot of times you have a bit of a nomadic lifestyle as an actor. You live out of suitcases and cities you're not familiar with. Doing 'Jacob' made me feel like I was home but still doing what I love. It was incredibly comforting."

He spent a lot of time with all three of his siblings while filming this movie. Chris also has a close bond with his mom, with a habit of calling her only ten minutes in advance to let her know he is coming over for dinner.

His mother, Lisa Evans, is also a famous actress; she married the Evans siblings' father, George Robert Evans III, in 1977. A film she is widely associated with is "One Life to Live."

She is also the sister of the former United States Representative Mike Capuano, and so effectively, he is the uncle of all four of her children. Shanna also has a biological brother, although not famous, Tim Spooner. The two managed to get in touch in 2017 via phone and then met in 2018.

With all her sibling's presents, Shanna married Graham Enman this year. They initially met six years earlier at mutual friends' housewarming party, after which they became Facebook friends, chatting endlessly online. The two saw one another again at the same mutual friends' wedding, with an online statement from them reading:

"It was clear there was something special between us. A few weeks later, Graham asked if we could make it official."

It then said that the pair got engaged two years after dating. They prepared a wedding website that outlined the attire as a "cocktail," stating that the ceremony was at "The Barn at Gibbet Hill" on April 16, 2022.

Like Shanna and her private internet presence, her now-husband is also a low-profile person with a private Instagram. No matter how out of sight the couple is, famous names played significant parts in their wedding in the form of Shanna's siblings.

Spooner, the only non-famous brother, was a wedding escort, alongside Scott, the officiant, Carly, the Matron of Honor, and Chris, the Man of Honor.

Shanna looks pretty close with her siblings, and Chris is no exception. In 2017 he took her as his date to the 89th Annual Academy Awards held in California. She wore a gorgeous black gown with a shimmering necklace to go.

Chris pushed his brother into a coffee table and he had to get four stitches.

This event is not the first time he has taken a family member to the Academy Awards; in 2016, his other sister Carly walked the red carpet with him, and in 2013, his mother joined him.

Chris and Scott Evans are also extremely close, with Scott stating that he always saw his younger brother as his best friend and has been cheering him on throughout his career.

Due to his busy life, Chris could not come to Scott's film premieres. However, the big brother finally pulled through and attended the 2019 premier of "Sell By," also helping the film gain more publicity.

Since children, these two have been supporting one another, with Scott saying he would take the blame for his brother when they were younger, even if it were Chris's fault.

Both brothers spoke about when they were kids when Chris pushed his brother into a coffee table, and he had to get four stitches. Even then, Scott covered for his sibling, although their mother always knew the truth.

As for Scott's acting career, beyond his most well-known "One Life to Live" and "Grace And Frankie," he took on films and series such as "Go-Go Boy Interrupted, "White Collar," and "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" and much more.
