Arthur Kardashian Is Kim Kardashian’s Grandfather - Facts about His Life
The Kardashian clan is one of the most famous families in the US but not too much is known about the most senior members of the iconic clan. This time let's demystify Kim Kardashian's grandfather, the late Arthur Kardashian.
Arthur Kardashian is the father of Robert Kardashian and grandfather of Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, and Rob Kardashian.
Arthur was best known for appearing in "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" (2006). He had a good relationship with his family, and Kim Kardashian once shared a picture that captured him posing next to her father.
THE LIFE HE LIVED
Arthur was born on October 26, 1917, in the USA. He lived a full life and passed away on December 9, 2012, in Mission Hills, California, USA. He married once in his lifetime. His wife was Helen Arakelian, and the marriage happened on February 12, 1938, in Los Angeles.
Helen sadly passed away on May 21, 2008, years before Arthur followed in 2012. They had three children, Barbara (Kardashian) Freeman, Thomas "Tommy" Kardashian, and Robert Kardashian.
Arthur was a good man who was loved by his family. Kim Kardashian has often shared posts honoring "papa Arthur Kardashian" since he passed, and they stand as testaments of the tight bonds they had while he lived.
Arthur made a living for himself and created a family on American soil, but he actually has Armenian roots. His family moved to the US from a region that now lies in Turkey. However, Kim and the rest of her siblings are aware of their heritage, and the talented TV star has been known to pay homage on Armenian sacred days.
For instance, this year, she joined the Armenians to celebrate the 107th anniversary of the Armenian genocide. Kim and her family have also been documented on frequent trips to Armenia. A nod to her grandfather's roots. Before he passed on, Arthur watched Kim get married in 2011 and saw her happy.
ARTHUR KARDASHIAN'S BIG FAMILY
Arthur Kardashian had three kids with his wife, Helen. Their names are Barbara (Kardashian) Freeman, Thomas "Tommy" Kardashian, and Robert Kardashian.
The two boys, Thomas and Robert, shared an uncanny resemblance to themselves and, to an extent, their father, Arthur. Robert was the one who welcomed moguls Kim, Khloé, Kourtney, and Rob with his vision–driven wife, Kris Jenner.
Like Arthur did with him, Robert had a great relationship with his kids. All four kids are known to share pictures of Arthur and their father now and then on their respective social media pages.
Arthur's grandkids are now very famous, and all have different things going for them. However, the "Keeping Up with Kardashians'' show that shot them into international fame has ended, and fans are keeping their attention on what the family does next.
Among all four kids, Kim seems to be the closest to their Armenian roots as she appears to be the one who has visited the country the most.
In 2019, she went there with her ex-husband Kanye West and their kids so they could confidently admit they knew their roots and had even been there.
Arthur has passed, but none of the Kardashians would be who they are now without him. He was one of those who made sacrifices to flee Armenia and seek refuge in America, and the decision paid off.
He was an ordinary man in his lifetime, and precious little is known about the life he lived, but one thing is certain — his family loved him.
His grandkids have become some of the most famous people in the United States, and they now have their own little legacies. However, they have remained respectful of their origins, and neither have they forgotten their grandfather. Because of their dedication to those roots, Arthur Kardashian's memory will not die.
