Does Frank Fritz Have a Wife? Inside 'American Pickers' Star's Relationship with Diann

Fifty-six-year-old "American Pickers" star Frank Fritz is not married, but he did reportedly date Diann Bankson. Learn more about their tumultuous relationship.

Frank Fritz was recently admitted to the hospital, and his current condition is reportedly not good. His friend and co-star Mike Wolfe took to social media to announce Fritz's alarming situation asking fans to send their thoughts and prayers.

He told everyone that Fritz had a stroke and said he was praying for his friend, expressing his love for him. Fritz has been battling Chron's disease and has had back surgery to assist with other health issues.

These issues led to him stepping away from "American Pickers," leaving the reality show about a year ago. The last episode he appeared in aired in March 2020.

Wolfe is clearly a concerned and supportive friend, but does Fritz have a woman in his life who can stand by him when these challenges occur? More specifically, does he have a wife?

MEET DIANN BANKSON, FRANK FRITZ EX-GIRLFRIEND

Currently, Fritz is not married, and there have been no reports in the past that he was ever betrothed. His apparent Instagram profile appears to prove his bachelor status because it only shows posts of him and only him from 2018 onward.

She claimed to have suffered third-degree burns because of negligence on Fritz's part.

He reportedly had a serious relationship with Diann Bankson and had pictures of her on his Facebook page since 2016. However, he later deleted this account. They were said to be engaged since 2017 and living together in his Iowa farmhouse.

At the same time, a previous Facebook post shared by Fritz in 2017 reportedly included a photo of Bankson's daughter and granddaughter, stating that they are his family too and that he loves being a grandfather. This supposedly shocked fans.

FRANK REPORTEDLY CHEATED ON DIANN BANKSON

In 2020 Bankson reportedly sued Fritz for being unfaithful, claiming in November 2018 that she caught him in the act. However, they managed to restore their relationship.

Later, she claimed to have suffered third-degree burns because of negligence on Fritz's part. She alleged that while Fritz and their friends were inebriated, they set off fireworks at the farmhouse but couldn't light one.

She stated that they put this firework in the covered intake ashtray without telling her. The lawsuit she filed purported that she then, without knowledge of this, used this ashtray, stating that the ashtray then blew up, leaving her with third-degree burns and her eyebrows as well as eyelashes burnt off.

Claiming negligence, she pushed for $50,000, claiming that it caused her mental and emotional distress, severe physical repercussions, and more. However, in March 2020, she terminated the suit.

FRANK FRITZ AND DIANN BANKSON'S BREAKUP

When the two went their separate ways, Fritz said that one reason they split was that Bankson was the unfaithful one. He said:

"The main problem was this girlfriend I had, I thought I was getting married, and I bought a brand new house. Then I found out that all the time while I was on the road, she had a boyfriend back here. "

The "American Pickers" co-host even claimed that he got a tattoo that read, "Once a cheater, always a cheater." He made this decision to remember not to make the same blunder twice.

He stated their split, which caused him to drink more than usual, pushed him to get help for this problem. He eventually checked into a rehabilitation center. After months of sobriety, Fritz expressed:

“I wish I had done it five years ago, I would have been a different person."

Diann, however, denied all the claims saying he just wanted to make himself a victim. She expressed that she was busy healing and wanted to move on with her life.
