'Blessed Couple': Fans Are Happy for Marie Osmond and Her Husband Whom She Wed Twice in 29 Years

Twenty-nine years after her first marriage ended, Marie Osmond found love again in the arms of the same man. The couple has been married for eleven years, and fans can't get over how happy they are about the lovebirds' romance. Here are the details.

Marie Osmond remains one of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. A singer, actress, author, and talk show host, the 62-year-old icon is undeniably one of the most successful and inspiring women in the show business.

Since she became an international sensation in the 1970s and 1980s, Osmond has enjoyed a stellar career. Apart from her professional achievements, the singer's love life is another reason she has made the headlines multiple times.

In her lifetime, Osmond has been romantically linked to some famous men, but she has only been married thrice to two men. The talk show host's first marriage was to former American Basketball Player Steve Craig.

The pair walked down the aisle in June 1982. Their wedding ceremony took place in front of 4000 guests at a Mormon Temple in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The following year, Osmond and her husband welcomed their only child and son, Stephen. Only 23 years old at the time, Osmond faced the pressure of starting a family at a young age.

It eventually told about her and her marriage, and unfortunately, in May 1985, after three years of marriage, Osmond and Craig's union ended. Not long after her divorce, the "Donnie & Marie" star found love again in the arms of her second husband and Actor Brian Blosil.

They dated shortly before tying the knot in 1986. Later, Osmond and Blosil welcomed seven children, five adopted and two biological. The pair's marriage lasted for over two decades, but unfortunately, their union was not happy.

So, the couple dated secretly for two years before exchanging wedding vows again on May 4, 2011.

In December 2020, during an episode of "Masters Podcast Club," Osmond revealed that it took a tragic incident for her to realize how unhappy she was in her marriage.

According to the icon, after she lost her home to a fire in 2005, she reached her breaking point. In the actress's words (via Pop Culture):

"I just went, 'I can't do this anymore.' And my children came to me and said, 'Mom, please leave. We gotta get out of here."

So, after 21 years of marriage, Osmond and Blosil's marriage ended in 2007. The actress confessed that it was probably one of the most freeing things, as she realized that the home she had created was only a facade to a marriage that had been unhappy for 20 years.

SECOND ATTEMPT: A CHANCE TO REMARRIAGE IN THE SAME DRESS

After her second divorce, Osmond gave love another shot and rekindled her romance with her first husband in 2009.

This time, the "Dancing With The Stars" icon decided to stay silent about her romance with Craig for fear of hurting anyone had the relationship not worked out.

So, the couple dated secretly for two years before exchanging wedding vows again on May 4, 2011. The pair were joined in a private ceremony at the Las Vegas Mormon Temple. For the occasion, Osmond was clad in the same wedding dress she wore when she first walked down the aisle with Craig in 1982.

It was an undeniably amazing occasion for the bride because it brought back beautiful memories, and the wedding coincided with Osmond's late son's birthday.

After the wedding, the talk show confessed that it was the most beautiful day she had experienced in a long time. A few years later, Osmond would reveal during an interview that she had no regrets about remarrying a man with whom she was already married.

Instead, the showbiz legend made it known that she was so happy and looked forward to sharing her life with Craig. According to Osmond, she was certain she would never find anyone she loved or respected like her husband.

Since Osmond and Craig remarried, netizens have shown their unwavering support for the lovely couple's union.

Recently, social media users were at it again after the actress took to Instagram to share a stunning snapshot of her and Craig, alongside a lengthy caption, celebrating the latter's birthday.

Eleven years down the road, Osmond's marriage is still waxing strong. The singer lives happily with Craig in her St George, Utah home. The property's interior boasts a beautiful kitchen with a large dark wood table, matching cabinets, and a gorgeous marble island at the center.

Other interior parts include the main bedroom with a king-sized bed, beautiful ceiling designs, a recording room, a sauna, hardwood floors, multiple bookshelves, and flower arrangements.

Meanwhile, the exterior features a stone walkway, a lounge area, a gorgeous view of the mountains, and a pool with an island. Overall, Osmond appears to be living her best life with Craig in the humble abode.

After the many tragedies the entertainment icon has been through, fans could not be happier that Osmond seems to have found peace. In the meantime, they remain optimistic that the "Down By The Lazy River" singer's union will stay intact for the rest of her life.
