A man leaves loving notes for his girlfriend every morning for years until one day she wakes up, and there was not a single note from him. Then her phone rings, and she has no idea what's in store for her.

"Good morning, babe. Remember, a smile a day keeps your worries away. I miss you. I'll be home soon."

"I made breakfast for you coz I know you were tired yesterday. I hope you like it."

"Make sure you don't stress yourself over anything. Give my love to Leah!"

"Thank you for being a wonderful partner and loving mother to our Leah. I love you more for it every day."

Imagine waking up every morning to such adorable post-it notes from your partner. That's how Sarah's life was. She and her boyfriend, Harry, had been together for five years, and there hadn't been a single day when he hadn't left her such notes.

Every morning, before leaving for work, Harry would make it a habit to leave Sarah a thoughtful note. And every day, Sarah would smile as she would find the notes at random places in the house—the bathroom mirror, her dressing table, the breakfast table, the fridge.

"And it makes me love you even more," she'd say, blushing after reading his note.

"Harry? Is everything okay? Why are you calling from a private number?" she asked as she dashed out the front door, worried.

Harry and Sarah met in college. They were complete opposites who were drawn to each other. He was candid, earnest, and hardworking, while Sarah was carefree, outgoing, and wild. She wanted to enjoy life as it came, whereas Harry planned every step meticulously.

Despite their different personalities, they fell in love with each other rather quickly and moved in together. Then a year after living together, Sarah got pregnant with Leah. The couple decided to raise the baby and became loving parents to her.

After graduation, Harry landed an average job, and Sarah decided to become a homemaker. Their finances were not in the best shape, so even though they wanted to tie the knot, they kept their wedding plans on the back burner.

"One day, I promise we'll have the best wedding! And all the things we've waited for so long!" Harry had told Sarah. "That's a promise."

"I know, babe. I trust you. I'll be waiting," she replied, holding his hand.

Harry was an engineer, and he worked for a small private firm. His salary wasn't great, but he was trying his best for a hike. He knew Sarah didn't say it out loud, but she really wanted to get married. He could see the disappointment in her eyes during their family get-togethers or when her mom called and asked her when they were getting married.

"Harry is doing his best, mom! Don't forget we have a four-year-old daughter, and I have to be there for her, so I can't help him with finances. He's an amazing dad and a loving partner. I know I badly want the wedding, but I don't want to pressure him. I will support him for as long as I can. I love him, mom."

Harry had overheard the conversation, and he really wanted to make Sarah's dream come true. It pained him that he couldn't.

One day, Sarah woke up and began her daily chores. Surprisingly, she didn't find any notes from Harry. In fact, the old ones that she'd left on the fridge were gone too. She searched the whole house, all places she'd found the notes before, but they were gone.

She searched the bathroom and looked through the kitchen cupboards and fridge, but nothing. She even checked Leah's room, but there were no notes there either.

Sarah was very disappointed that day. That was the first time in the five years they were living together that Harry hadn't left her a note. What worried her more was why.

"He wasn't very occupied yesterday. How could he forget? Did he not leave one on purpose?" she wondered.

She sat at the table, staring at her phone wallpaper. It was a photo of them smiling. "Should I just ask him? Maybe he really forgot. But why did he remove the old ones?"

Suddenly, her phone rang, and an unknown number flashed across the screen. "Hey babe, could you come outside for a minute?"

It was Harry's voice on the other end of the line.

"Harry? Is everything okay? Why are you calling from a private number?" she asked as she dashed out the front door, worried.

Outside, she saw a crane in front of their house and Harry standing beside it in a nice suit. The crane was decked with balloons, and Harry was holding a bouquet of her favorite roses.

"What…what is all this, Harry?" asked Sarah, shocked.

To her surprise, Harry dropped down on one knee and pulled a ring out of his pocket.

"Will you marry me and be mine forever, Sarah? I'd like to be by your side till death separates us. I'm no longer leaving letters for you because they were meant for my girlfriend, and now I want you to be my wife."

Just then, a swarm of small children appeared from behind the crane, each holding a post-it note in their tiny hands, forming the message: "W - I - L- L - Y - O - U - M - A - R - R - Y - M - E -?"

Harry was smiling, waiting for Sarah's response, but she was crying.

"Oh, Harry! But how could we afford it? You know, we can wait…."

"There's no need to wait now, Sarah. I got a promotion at work, and we can now plan our wedding the way we wanted."

"You did?" Sarah's eyes welled up with tears. "Oh, I am so proud of you!" she cried and hugged him. "Yes! Of course, yes, I'll marry you!!"

Harry placed the ring on her finger, and they kissed each other.

Meanwhile, the neighbors, who had teamed with Harry secretly by asking their children to help him arrange the proposal, couldn't help but cheer and applaud the new couple, who were about to embark on a beautiful journey together.

"I love you so much!" Sarah whispered to Harry in tears. "You'll make a great husband, I know! I love you!!"

"And I love you even more," replied Harry, hugging her close.
