Elizabeth Ann Hanks Is Tom Hanks's Only Daughter
Elizabeth Ann Hanks may have appeared on the big screen from a young age, but she didn't set her heart on an acting career. After graduating with her bachelor's degree, the Huffington Post hired her as an associate news editor.
Elizabeth Ann and her brother, Colin, arrived four years apart during Tom Hanks's first marriage, which ended in 1987. The following year, Hanks remarried and had two more sons with a former co-star, actress, and singer Rita Wilson.
Hanks reflected on how his children from his first marriage grew up differently from the children in his second. The actor became a father for the first time at the age of 21 years and was a young man doing his best to make an honest living and care for his children.
He spoke of how he and his first two children have a unique and wholesome understanding of each other. The actor also reflected on how he felt he wasn't grown enough when he had Elizabeth Ann and Colin. However, when he had his last two sons, he was much more at ease with the flow of things.
After all, Chet and Truman arrived after Hanks's career began soaring to great heights. Hanks won the Oscar for "Best Actor In A Leading Role" for "Forest Gump", where Elizabeth Ann is credited as "The Schoolbus Girl". He wrote and directed "That Thing You Do!" where his daughter also appeared.
Elizabeth Ann leads an impressive writing career, having been hired by some of the most prominent magazines, including The Guardian, the New York Times, Jezebel, Time Magazine, Vanity Fair, and more. Her pen name is E.A. Hanks, and the same goes for her social handles.

The ex-lovers remain on friendly terms, even after Hanks married and had children. Hanks tied the knot with Samantha Bryant in 2010, and the couple had two children named Charlotte and Olivia. His first younger brother, Chester 'Chet' Hanks, is an aspiring rapper.

While he also dabbled in acting, appearing in films such as 2008's "Indiana Jones & The Kingdom of the Crystal Stull" and 2015's "The Fantastic Four", the rapper is infamous for being the center of controversy, including a few counts of cultural appropriation.
According to Nicki Swift, Chet once admitted to distributing cocaine in a since-deleted Instagram post. The actor has also battled with substance abuse. However, he has since been rehabilitated and has worked with organizations such as On Campus and Visions Teen organizations to push for sobriety.
Chet welcomed his daughter, Michaiah, in April 2016, who inspired him to get better. He was also heavily criticized, where the bulk of his career was credited to nepotism. However, the rapper insisted he had no help while carving out his path in Hollywood.
When he responded, Chet stated that due to his connection to his father and his status in the entertainment industry, the public will inevitably resort to their own "preconceived notions" of him and will always have their minds made up.
Earlier this year, Chet was the center of another controversy that involved his ex-girlfriend, Kiana Parker. He posted a video in which the actor was heavily wounded and had an intense argument with Parker. According to a news report obtained by Meaw, Parker attacked Chet with a knife.
The ex-lovers had had a heated confrontation the previous day, where Chet accused Parker of stealing from him. The next day, Parker visited Chet, accompanied by a muscular man who carried a gun, after which she attacked him.
