A Look into Kevin Hart’s Relationship with Eniko Hart

Kevin Hart's wife, Eniko Hart, had all the reasons to walk away from their marriage at one point. Still, she chose to stay and believes their union has better days ahead.

In August 2021, Kevin Hart and Eniko Hart celebrated five years of being husband and wife. The comedian's wife took it to her Instagram account to commemorate the milestone with a photo from their wedding.

Kevin and Eniko looked overjoyed in the photograph as they smiled while gazing into each other's eyes at the altar.

"As we continue to grow older and change with age, my love for you remains the same," Eniko dedicated to her husband. Hart also celebrated their anniversary on social media, sharing a different photo on his profile.

What to Know About Eniko Hart

Although Eniko became famous because of her relationship with the Hollywood star, she already had a previous career in the entertainment industry. Eniko was an aspiring model and actress from Baltimore who was still working on landing high-profile jobs.

She was reportedly part of the television series "Rip the Runway" in 2013, a show hosted by Kelly Rowland. Not much is known about her dating life, but she officially knew she would no longer have one when she gave her sweet yes to Kevin on August 19, 2014.

Kevin proposed to Eniko on her 30th birthday and made her his wife on August 14, 2016, two years after the engagement. The couple tied the knot in Santa Barbara, California.

Cheating Scandal

Unfortunately, their relationship wasn't always smooth-sailing. A few years into their marriage, Eniko faced media scrutiny as news of her husband cheating on her surfaced in the media.

Following the controversy, Eniko used Kevin's Netflix docuseries, "Kevin Hart: Don't F**k This Up," to let people know her side of the story. She narrated how she learned of the actor's infidelity with another woman, saying:

"How I found out was a DM. I don't know who it was. They sent me an edited video of Kevin and, you know, another woman."

Eniko was about seven months pregnant at that time. She immediately called Kevin and released her anger. At one point, she told him that she no longer wanted to be a part of his life due to his actions.

"The worst part was just knowing how you made somebody feel. There's a major effect it could have on the people that you are closest to, who you love the most," Kevin said. "It was crushing. That tore me up. That really tore me up."

Eniko ended up staying in their relationship for their son, Kenzo's, well-being. However, she looks forward to better years ahead with her husband, who will undoubtedly learn from his past mistakes.

Kevin Hart as a Family Man

Kevin has previously faced marital problems during his first marriage. In 2003, the "Jumanji" star walked down the aisle and married actress-producer Torrei Hart.

During their marriage, Kevin and Torrei welcomed two kids, Heaven Leigh in 2005 and Hendrix in 2007. However, their union ended with a divorce in 2010. Kevin immediately filed for joint custody at that time but refused to pay spousal support.

Despite how their relationship turned out, the duo remained on good terms. "I would never disrespect or put her in the limelight where she would be seen as an ugly, vicious person — that's the mother of my kids," he said. "We just didn't work out, but we're friends."

In fact, Torrei Hart even defended her ex-husband amidst controversy regarding his supposed homophobic statement a few years back. Indeed, the pair know how to be civil for the betterment of those around them.
