Alec Baldwin sold his Hamptons estate for $29 million, which was ten times more than what he paid in 1996.
On her Instagram account on September 24, 2022, Hilaria Baldwin revealed that she and her famous husband, Alec Baldwin, had welcomed their seventh child! In her post, Hilaria shared how the latest addition was born on September 22, 2022.
She said the newborn's name was Ilaria Catalina Irena, and she was a baby girl. Hilaria's child arrived weighing six pounds and 13 ounces, with the happy mother noting how excited they were to introduce the little girl to their fans.

A video included in the post showed Alec's wife greeting the child for the first time after giving birth at a hospital. In her post's caption, Hilaria revealed that her other children spent the day bonding with and welcoming their youngest sibling into the home, concluding:
"We are so happy to celebrate this wonderful news with you."
According to Daily Mail, Hilaria took to her Instagram Stories the following morning, revealing she was "exhausted and happy" after her lastborn's birth. She looked pleased and content as she posed, cradling the newborn.
During the decade-long marriage, Hilaria and her husband welcomed Carmen, Rafael, Leonardo, Romeo, Edu, and Marilu. In the yoga instructor's post, the older siblings were seen cradling little Ilaria, with one photo showing Hilaria holding the little girl as Carmen snuggled up and gazed down at her baby sister.
Besides welcoming a new Baldwin into the family, there was other big news for the household. Reports revealed that Alec and his wife decided to sell their mansion, maybe as they looked for something that could fit their growing family.
The Baldwin Home That Alec and Hilaria Are Selling
In late September 2022, the Daily Mail revealed that the Baldwins were selling their 10-acre Hamptons farmhouse estate. The publication claimed the home was placed on the market for $29 million.
The Town Lane, Amagansett house was nestled in the Long Island billionaire's enclave. Its sale made it one of the most expensive listings in the area, with the property being located 100 miles from Alec's Greenwich Village family penthouse.
The Hampton's mansion was billed as the perfect "marriage of nature and luxury." The estate has a 10,000-square-foot farmhouse that was modernized with lavish additions like a spa, covered porches, a swimming pool, and a pavilion with a fieldstone fireplace.
The advert for the sale of the mansion revealed it had two stories with a design that allowed the family to maximize its indoor/outdoor space. The property also received "natural light throughout the year."
The home also had space for entertaining family and friends with a large kitchen, movie theater, dining room, a private wood-paneled library, and a wine tasting room. It was described as a dream getaway for a nature lover or an equestrian.
A reserve could be cultivated, or stables could be built for horses. However, the Baldwins weren't left out on the streets because Alec had several properties, including the Greenwich Village penthouse, which he bought in 2011.
In February 2022, the "30 Rock" actor bought a 50-acre farm in Vermont for $1.7million. The house was in the small mountain town of Arlington, where his wife's grandfather lived, while the one he was currently selling was reportedly purchased in 1996 for $1.75 million.
The Accidental Shooting That Haunts Alec's Life
On October 21, 2021, Alec was involved in a horrendous incident during a rehearsal of the western movie "Rust," which was being shot on a Santa Fe, New Mexico set. David Halls, the assistant director, unknowingly handed the actor a gun with real bullets.
According to a Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office search warrant affidavit, Halls had believed the weapon had blanks and called it a "cold gun" to indicate it was safe to use. However, when Alec shot it, the directed Joel Souza was left injured and hospitalized.
The cinematographer in the film, Halyna Hutchins, was sadly left with fatal injuries, as Alec didn't know the gun had live ammunition. A few months later, Hilaria shared her difficult conversations with her children about the incident on her Instagram Story.
The sincere post came a day before her husband's sit-down interview with ABC News about the accident. Hilaria shared that the talks with her oldest children were "heart-wrenching," with her revealing what support she got, stating:
"I'm grateful to The Child Mind Institute for guiding me. I'm grateful to my friend, Anne, for encouraging me to reach out to them."
Alec's supportive wife admitted that she sometimes froze when she realized that she was the adult responsible for guiding her family. Hilaria confessed that despite the knowledge of her responsibilities, she was "so lost" as to what was the right direction.
The actor's wife lamented the lack of a manual for such situations. Hilaria said she sometimes caught herself and was surprised that she was an adult in such a position and wondered if she shouldn't know what to do.
Despite the tense and stressful situation that the Baldwins find themselves in, Alec's wife is unwavering in her support. According to Entertainment Tonight (ET), the couple met by chance while Hilaria was on a routine trip to Pure Food and Wine, a vegan restaurant.
The duo [Hilaria and Alec Bladwin] also had each other's backs when the yoga instructor faced criticism over her heritage.
In February 2019, Alec shared a heartfelt Instagram post commemorating the anniversary of the first time he met his wife. He said the meeting happened eight years before when he wandered into the restaurant on Irving Place.

The star recalled sitting with a friend outside the establishment and turning to his left side, where he saw the woman who'd change his life! During a New York Times profile, Hilaria recalled standing with friends close to the restaurant's door when Alec walked up and took her hand.
His corny opening line was, "I must know you," feeling disarmed, they started chatting. Alec gave the yoga instructor his business card, which had his number and their first date included a group of friends out to a theater district restaurant.
The actor concluded by shaking her hand and told her he wanted them to get to know each other. Hilaria once revealed that Alec didn't kiss her for the first six weeks while they were dating.
The pair tied the knot in June 2012 and have stuck it out through Alec's run-ins with the law and the miscarriages Hilaria has gone through. The duo also had each other's backs when the yoga instructor faced criticism over her heritage.
