At the same time, Demi Kyles also tweeted, insisting that Holland needed to grace the Superbowl stage with the singer, saying:

When Did Tom Holland Perform Rihanna's Song?

Several years ago, Tom Holland performed Rihanna's smash hit "Umbrella" on The Lip Sync Battle, following Zendaya's lip-sync performance of Bruno Mars's "24K Magic." The actress donned a similar maroon two-piece to the one Mars wore in the song's music video.

Holland started with a smooth dance to 20th-century music in a 1950s tux before ripping it away, shocking the audience with the drag outfit underneath, matching his backup dancers with red lipstick.

Interestingly, Holland almost didn't appear on The Lip Sync Battle. The actor's father, Dominic Holland, called his son before his performance, urging him to tell the producers that he'd changed his mind about doing the show.

Holland explained that his dad was worried about the unwanted attention his son may attract, which could potentially ruin his life. Still, fans were blessed to see the friendly neighborhood Spiderman's dancing skills, and the video clip reached over 133 million views on YouTube.
