Curtis Bowles and American actor, producer, businessman, and former professional wrestler Dwayne Johnson have the same father. The love for sports seems to run in their family as their dad Rocky Johnson, was a professional wrestler.

He got inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2008. Sadly, he passed away at 75. Following their father's death, Curtis said he worked "hard all his life." Dwayne also shared a touching tribute on Instagram after his father's demise.

Curtis Bowles's half-brother Dwayne is the only one among his siblings who lives his life in the spotlight, as not much is known about her. Curtis is also interested in sports but lives a low-key life like his sister.

Curtis Bowles's Father Wasn’t a Faithful Husband

Curtis Bowles was born in May 1965 to legendary wrestler Rocky Johnson and his wife, Una Sparks. His father comes from Nova Scotia Rocky and Una married on July 9, 1966, and had a daughter, Wanda Bowles, a few years before tying the knot in December 1962.

The couple raised their children together, but Rocky was not faithful to Una. In 1972, Rocky had a son, Dwayne Johnson, with another woman, Ata Maivia, whose father was a wrestler and mother a promoter. Rocky didn't try to allow all his kids to connect and have a relationship.

Curtis's parents officially divorced on December 18, 1978, but they had been apart for years before formally separating. He was 13 at the time. Curtis attended Cooley High before he went on to further his studies at Anadolu University.

Curtis Is on Good Terms with His Brother Dwayne Johnson

Curtis Bowles is not a celebrity like his famous brother Dwayne Johnson. The two may be half-siblings; however, they remain on good terms. He often posts pictures of Dwayne on his Instagram page and is proud of him. Dwayne also keeps in touch and often comments on Curtis's posts, like his birthday tribute in 2022.

Does Curtis Bowles Wrestle?

Curtis Bowles didn't follow in the footsteps of his father and half-brother. He doesn't wrestle professionally and doesn't strive to reach heights in this field. In August 2022, Curtis shared a photo of himself from the gym, and Dwayne commented on the photo by writing, "👏🏾👏🏾💪🏾 get 'em, bro." Not much is known about what career Curtis is in, but his Facebook page says he's self-employed.
