  • The Princess of Wales began her journey into the royal family eleven years ago.

  • During her long-term relationship with William, she was the shy "Waity Kaitie," but now, she is the monarchy's future.

  • Fans are outraged that the name of their favorite royal has been misrepresented for over a decade.

  • A detailed analysis of who Kate is and her title according to the King— would also stir fans to acknowledge the "monarchy's greatest assets."

Kate was born and raised by the Middletons, a working-class family in the UK. Her parents, Carole and Michael, were descendants of reputable English families.

Carole's ancestry was connected to the Queen Mother, while her husband's belonged to the British aristocratic circles.

Despite the social classism of these families and them as individuals — Catherine's parents worked as flight attendants and flight dispatchers, not everyone in the royal family accepted her involvement with the Prince.

Following Catherine's relationship with William, Camilla, the Queen Consort, former Duchess of Cornwall, questioned whether she could match the future King.

Expectedly, Camilla was not the only one with doubts. The public scrutinized the former St.Andrews alum (she had met William at the University). She displayed shyness and little confidence and looked very thin during her early years there.

But as time went on, she became more comfortable with her group of friends, eventually getting the nickname "Middlebum" because of her pranks on campus.

According to the source, the former shy Kate had "a childish love of pranking, which saw her go through the uncharacteristic phase of mooning surprised male students from her dorm windows, a habit that inspired the affectionate nickname."

When giving the highlights of the relationship between Kate and William, it is impossible not to identify the Princess of Wales, a former non-royal, as a critical role player.

She met William in 2001, at age 19, and they soon began dating. Many described her as a commoner despite her middle-class background.

Their romance lasted for eight years, with William proposing in November 2010. Before that, the public had already dubbed her "Waity Katie."

To the outside world, it seemed like Catherine was barely tagging along. But according to the account of a royal expert, William wanted to ensure that his future wife was well grounded in royal matters. The expert claimed:

"It was very sensible in the circumstances for Kate and Wiliam to get to know each other over the length of time that they felt appropriate. But it can be hurtful seeing those headlines and obviously very stressful."

Despite the negative comments, Catherine remained persistent and determinedly focused on her marriage with William.

Reportedly, her early years in the monarchy were characterized by shyness and an urge to impress other senior royals.

However, slowly and steadily, she rose to a formidable status — becoming the monarchy's greatest asset. She managed criticism and adhered to the principles of the monarchy.

However, Catherine never took center stage; she supported her husband while playing her role at the same time. In the end, this strengthened their marriage.

Sources claimed that the pair are a team whose primary assignment is to look out for each other. While Kate has grown confident due to her husband, William can always rely on her for support in difficult times. In her upcoming book "The New Royals," Katie Nicholl noted that their roles had been reversed in recent times. She wrote:

"Kate's very much been the pillar of strength, guide and mentor for William that he has always been for her. He's had a really hard time with his brother, he's really struggled with it and she's been a rock."

Another account pointed out that Catherine, who has been dutiful, inherited the title of "Duchess of Cambridge" when she married William, as the Queen bestowed it upon her.

However, she is also described as the Princess of Wales following the Queen's death. This is merely her job title, even though she is technically a princess in the UK.

By all accounts, Kate has been faithful to the crown and her duties as a supportive wife. But despite being a royal for over a decade, the tabloids and some royal experts have refused to stop identifying her by her maiden name — Kate Middleton.

Royal Fans Are Outraged at the Disrespect Towards Catherine

Following her new status and recent roles, royal fans are beginning to condemn the comments of a few experts.

These loyalists believe that Kate should be addressed properly. They boldly shared their thoughts on Twitter after Robert Jobson, a royal editor, published news about the Princess.

Apparently, Kate has more than two titles (apart from Princess of Wales and Duchess of Cambridge mentioned above). She is the Duchess of Cornwall since her husband became the Duke of Cornwall following his father's ascension.

One fan tweeted, "Please stop referring to her as "Kate Middleton." Catherine or Princess of Wales - she's been married for over a decade now and has earned at least that much respect." With mincing words, a second person wrote:

"Where you being lazy or disrespectful? Shamelessly calling her Kate Middleton and excluding her's and her children's titles. She is Catherine, the Princess of Wales with Prince George, princess charlotte and prince Louis. Your license as a royal reporter should be revoked."

Another Twitter user quipped, "Who is this Kate Middleton? I thought William Prince of Wales is married to The Princess of Wales." One of Kate's supporters added:

"Imagine that, a Royal reporter who can't grasp the concepts of Royal titles and chooses to address the Princess of Wales as Kate Middleton, you're a clown."

After the Queen's death, her eldest son, Charles, became the King. A few hours after his ascension, he addressed the public, stating vital points regarding his new title and other senior royals, including William and Catherine.

King Charles confirmed his previous title as Prince of Wales belonged to his son. So, by extension, Kate also became the Princess of Wales.

The last time women held the position was over twenty years ago. Princess Diana was called the Princess of Wales following her marriage to the Prince of Wales. It would have applied to the King's second wife, Camilla, but she chose not to use the title out of respect.

Apparently, Catherine has more than two titles (apart from Princess of Wales and Duchess of Cambridge mentioned above). She is the Duchess of Cornwall since her husband became the Duke of Cornwall following his father's ascension.

Additionally, she is also the Duchess of Rothesay. Like the previous titles, it is held by the heir apparent. So this makes Catherine the automatic title holder since William is the Duke of Rothesay.

Interestingly, Kate moved from being a shy girl in school to a prankster; similarly, she rose from the commoner status to that of a promising royal. This proves that she can evolve and, most of all, the qualities that rightly match with a future King.
