Elizabeth Olsen might be a famous Hollywood figure, but her private life is well kept from the public eye. Nevertheless, there have been a few of her romantic relationships that were brought to public attention.

Although there are four Olsen sisters, Elizabeth is one of the three well-known. The other two of the famous trio are the twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Still, the twins, much like their younger famous sibling, also avoid media attention.

However, being a public figure makes it difficult for anyone to keep every aspect of their lives away from the public domain. Hence, it was always going to take a monumental task for Elizabeth to keep all her relationships under wraps.

Elizabeth Olsen Dating History

Elizabeth has rarely spoken about her romantic relationships, which has led to speculation about the people she has dated. She has been linked to various Hollywood actors throughout her career. Some of the rumors have turned out to be just rumors.

When she was younger, Elizabeth used to get some relationship advice from her more experienced older sisters, who played a significant role in her personal life. They would help her whenever she had issues in the dating department.

However, it seems the older siblings have not had to get involved too much in their sister relationships as she has not been into too many. She has only ever spoken publicly about two of her relationships.

Alexander Skarsgard

In 2012, the then 23-year-old Elizabeth was rumored to have been in a relationship with Skarsgard. Skarsgard is a Swedish actor who was 35 years old at the time. He has been involved in various movies, starting initially in Swedish-produced films before moving on to Hollywood.

Rumors between Olsen and Skarsgard began when the two were said to have been seen talking a long time during an Oscars party in 2012. However, Olsen shot down the rumors by saying that talking to people does not necessarily mean you are in a relationship with them.

Elizabeth Olsen's adventures in the dating world reached their epilogue in 2017 when she started dating her now husband, musician Robbie Arnett.

Boyd Holbrook

Moving from a rumor to a confirmed relationship, Elizabeth Olsen dated Boyd Holdbrook. Holbrook is an American actor and fashion model born on September 1, 1981. He has appeared in various movies and TV shows, including the 2017 superhero movie "Logan," alongside Hugh Jackman.

The relationship between the two began in 2012, the same year the rumors about Olsen and Skarsgard were going around. However, this was Olsen's first confirmed major public relationship after the two had met while shooting the film "Very Good Girls."

The couple was rumored to have been engaged in 2014, but after three years of being together, disaster struck as Olsen decided to end the relationship in 2015. Holbrook was left heartbroken, saying, "On the same day that my best friend died, I got a call from my girl to tell me it was over."

Tom Hiddleston

Next up in Elizabeth Olsen's dating journey was her "Avengers" co-star, Englishman Tom Hiddleston. The actor has appeared in several Hollywood movies, and his portrayal of Loki in the "Marvel Cinematic Universe" movie franchise has arguably propelled him to stardom.

The rumors between the two Hollywood stars began a few months after Olsen had called off the engagement with Holbrook in 2015. They were reported to have been hooking up and being intimate while on the set of the musical "I Saw the Light," but their relationship was casual.

The relationship proved to be a brief one as they ended things a few months later. Their split was reported to have been because of Olsen's reluctance to make their relationship public. She did not know what to do with the relationship amid a strong desire to focus on her career.

Robbie Arnett

Elizabeth Olsen's adventures in the dating world reached their epilogue in 2017 when she started dating her now husband, musician Robbie Arnett. Arnett is part of the American indie pop band Milo Greene, where he does vocals and plays various instruments.

The two met while on vacation in Mexico. From early on in the relationship, Olsen seemed very excited about the relationship, unlike her past relationship with Hiddleston. Just a few months after they began dating, she publicly stated, "My boyfriend's in a cool band called Milo Greene!"

After a few more public appearances together, the two moved in together in 2018 and got engaged in July 2019. The couple confirmed in an interview on the "Jess Cagle Show" in 2022 that they had eloped and got married before the Covid 19 pandemic started, but they had never talked about it.

Being a younger sibling of the twins who, in their earlier years, spent a lot of time in the spotlight before shunning away from it has made Elizabeth aware of the fake stories that come with being a celebrity. She declared that she did not want that to be her li; hence, she has kept her private life away from the spotlight.
