Thirty-six-year-old Jasdeep Singh and 27-year-old Jasleen Kaur's worst nightmare as parents became a reality when they least expected it. They were at a business in Merced County, California, with their eight-month-old daughter.

The little one's uncle, 39-year-old Amandeep Singh, was also present and never saw the threat coming. The four were going about their business one moment; the next, everything changed.

A Desperate Search for the Family

Jasdeep, Jasleen, Amandeep, and the infant were purportedly kidnapped from business premises in the 800 Block of South Highway 59. Authorities are frantically trying to track them down before tragedy strikes.

"We have a lowlife out there that kidnapped an 8-month-old baby, her mom, her dad and her uncle. So far… we have no motivation behind it. We just know they are gone."

The Sheriff's Office shared that the suspected kidnappers had not yet contacted the family's loved ones, and no ransom requests were noted. Authorities are working hard so the story will have a happy ending, even utilizing an aircraft in hopes of finding the family.

During his video plea for assistance, Sheriff Vern Warnke asked citizens to do whatever they could to assist in the search mission. He stated:

"If you have seen the parents, their baby, or if you know who that suspect is, please reach out to us. It's imperative that we get some information on this. We need your help."

He also revealed that they had reason to believe the suspects "destroyed evidence in an attempt to cover their tracks."
