DJ Khaled, whose real name is Khaled Mohammed Khalid, is a world-renowned music producer who has worked with some of the best musicians in the world. But, for him, his best achievement has been seeing his sons grow up in his presence.

DJ Khaled often speaks about his five-year-old son Asahd. Despite his son being so young, his father said that they have some grown and intelligent conversations. However, because his son is a quick learner, his father makes sure to keep away from sensitive things.

The father of two always talks passionately about his family, whether on social media or during interviews. He shows pride in being a family man who takes that responsibility seriously. He also has excellent support from his wife regarding raising his sons and managing the business.

DJ Khaled and Nicole Tuck's Family

DJ Khaled was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on November 26, 1975. His wife, Nicole Tuck, was born 11 days later in New Rochelle, New York, on December 7, 1975. The pair have been together for more than a decade. Although Nicole largely stays away from the spotlight, she occasionally accompanies her husband to events.

Both Tuck and DJ Khaled take their parenting very seriously. However, their parenting styles are somewhat parallel to each other.

Tuck is a graduate of Marymount Manhattan College and Fordham University. She became a businesswoman in her own right, running her clothing shop called ABU apparel. In addition, she also doubles as her husband's unofficial business manager, taking care of the business side of his music career.

Extending the Family

In the time that Dj Khaled and Tuck have been together, they have been blessed with two children. Their firstborn, Asahd, was born on October 23, 2016. It was only after the birth of Asahd that they decided to get engaged and secretly married sometime later.

Tuck gave birth to their second son, Aalam, on January 20, 2020. During Aalam's delivery, his father demonstrated his pride and enthusiasm to become a father again by live streaming it on Snapchat. The music producer disclosed his newborn's name while giving his Grammy award acceptance speech. He said:

"I want to thank my beautiful queen, Nicole. I just had a new baby boy a week ago. His name is Alealam. It means 'the world' in Arabic. And I also want to pick up my other son, Asahd. Daddy will be home!"

Despite only getting into parenthood at 40, DJ Khaled has always wanted to be a dad. Now that he has been blessed with two kids, he has shown why he always wanted to be a parent. He boasts about his kids and has pointed out that he is extra protective of them, especially on what they get exposed to.

For example, he makes sure that his son only listens to clean versions of music. The parents see their son as a good kid and are determined to make sure that he and his baby brother enjoy their childhood for as long as possible before getting caught up with all the problems that come with adult life. Tuck revealed:

"I do try and keep life as traditional as possible, because we live in a very hectic world. I want them to enjoy being kids as long as they possibly can. I try to keep it like how we grew up as much as possible."

DJ Khaled and Nicole Tuck's Parenting Styles

Both Tuck and DJ Khaled take their parenting very seriously. However, their parenting styles are somewhat parallel to each other. Whereas Tuck is a structured type of mother, the father brings all the fun. Still, DJ Khaled appreciates his wife's parenting style and acknowledges that having her is a blessing.

Although the Khaled family has housekeepers, Asahd has chores and even knows how to make his bed at such a young age. His father also claims that "he wants to help make us breakfast," and his favorite food to make is chocolate chip pancakes.

When baby number three comes, he or she will have some great parents and an amazing home.

DJ Khaled Wants Baby Number Three

DJ Khaled has a desire for a third child. After having two sons, he would like to become the father of a girl. In an E! News interview, the "God Did" hitmaker revealed that he and his wife had been talking about having another baby.

He went on to talk about how his wife has his back and supports him. With that said, a third member of the Khaled family should be expected, and with both parents having already passed 45, that child will most likely be their last one.
