Actor Jason Beghe's marriage to Angie Janu came to an end 17 years after their wedding. The separation and eventual divorce came amid rising problems at work for Beghe, as he was being accused of various cases of misconduct.

Who Is Jason Beghe's Ex-wife Angie Janu?
Angie Janu is a native of the state of Minnesota, where she was born in Saint Paul on May 19, 1974. She was given the name Angeline Dawn at birth. Although sometimes considered an actress, she has only had two very minor acting roles in "Too Good to Be True" and an uncredited role in "Chicago PD."
Janu and Beghe were both members of the Scientology community and had their wedding at the church's Celebrity Centre in Los Angeles. However, the couple left the church in 2007 as they began to doubt its narrative. Beghe said his wife played a significant role in them leaving the church. He said:
"She is one of those people you just can't brainwash. She had always pointed out things that were inconsistent."

When Did Jason Beghe and Angie Janu Get Divorced and Why?
The couple, who had been married since February 2000, separated in May 2016 before Beghe filed for divorce in 2017. Beghe's reason for the divorce was irreconcilable differences. Furthermore, their separation came around the same time Beghe faced multiple misconduct allegations.
Beghe had been accused of sexual misconduct and anger issues on set. He was also suspected of having extramarital affairs with co-workers, including actress Sophia Bush who later left the show. The broadcasting network even hired a coach to help Beghe manage his anger. He expressed his regret, saying:
"I am deeply sorry for my behavior, which I know has been hurtful to my friends and colleagues. I have struggled with anger issues for some time, and over the past year, I have been working with a coach to help me learn how to mitigate my temper."

How Many Kids Does Jason Beghe Have with His Ex-wife?
Angie Janu and Jason Beghe's marriage produced two children. Their first son, Bix Beghe, was born in 2003, and their second, Bo Bear Beghe, was born in 2006. The custody of their two children was a significant area of concern in their divorce proceedings.
Ultimately, the court granted them joint legal custody, which Beghe had requested when he filed for the divorce. The former couple would have an equal say in all significant decisions that concern their kids in aspects such as school, welfare, and religion, among other things.

In addition, they would also share physical custody and be with their kids according to the dates stipulated by the courts. Beghe was further obligated to pay monthly child support of $14,200 and spousal support of $16,700, rising to $20,000 when Bix reached the legal age.
Although no public drama surrounded their marriage for most parts, the couple had a public divorce that was further brought into the spotlight by Beghe's problems at work. Their divorce was finalized in 2020 and resulted in both parents getting joint legal custody of their children.
