Khris Middleton Has Two Children with His Partner Samantha Dutton: Inside Their Relationship
Professional basketball player Khris Middleton has fans cheering him on whenever he steps on the court. However, his biggest fan and cheerleader is his partner, Samantha Dutton, with whom he shares two children.
Khris Middleton was born James Khristian Middleton in Charleston, South Carolina, on August 12, 1991. He comes from a basketball family, started playing early, and was notably the best shooter at his position in 2009.
He attended Texas A&M University from 2009 to 2012 and played college basketball. His professional career started after college when he emerged as the 39th overall pick for Detroit Pistons in the 2012 NBA draft.
The following year, Middleton joined the Milwaukee Bucks and has played for the team since then. When he is off the court, he devotes his time and efforts to humanitarian projects that promote social justice education and training for underprivileged youths.
He also has a holiday initiative named "12 Days of Khristmas." Through this initiative, he gives back 12 acts of service a couple of weeks before Christmas.
The professional basketballer also spends time with his family, including his two children, with his longtime partner, Samantha Dutton.

Middleton keeps his personal life out of the media but has dated his partner Dutton for some years. She was born in Charleston, South Carolina, but there is very little information about what she does.
Despite opting for privacy, the professional basketballer sometimes shares beautiful pictures of his family on his Instagram. While he has shown his fans a few images of their first child, he is yet to show photos of their second child.

On April 23, 2019, Middleton and Dutton welcomed their first child, a daughter called Audrielle. The three-time NBA All-Star was not at home when his partner went into labor but made it for the birth of their baby.
He reportedly got on a private plane with Marc Lasry, the billionaire businessman, hedge fund manager, and co-owner of the Milwaukee Bucks, after winning a playoff against his former team, Detroit Pistons.
The free agent All-Star forward shared a picture of his daughter and partner on July 11, 2019, after the Milwaukee Bucks re-signed his contract.
Two years after they welcomed their daughter, the couple had their second child, a boy, on July 21, 2021, at a local Milwaukee hospital. His birth happened hours after the Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Phoenix Suns.
Samantha Dutton encouraged him to play in the Olympics [...] and he won a gold medal.
With the arrival of his second child, Middleton had doubts about leaving his family to join Team USA at the Olympics in Tokyo, which started a few days later.
On Mother's day in 2020, he took to Instagram to wish Dutton a happy mother's day. In the caption of his post, he wrote:
"Happy Mother’s Day to this Mom and all the Moms out there! We are lucky to have you in our lives and thank you for everything you do!"
Khris Middleton Almost Missed Olympics Because of Family
The 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan, began on July 24, 2021, and ended on August 8, 2021. With the start date being three days after his son was born, Middleton considered not going.
The athlete was torn because being a part of an Olympic team was one of his dreams for his professional career. In addition, becoming a father again was another dream.
The basketballer's dreams came true simultaneously, and he did not want to be away from them. He thought about giving up his Olympics dream for his family.
In an interview, Middleton, who starred as himself in Adam Sandler's sports drama "Hustle," revealed that Dutton encouraged him to play in the Olympics. She promised him everything would be fine when he returned.
He eventually joined Team USA at the Olympics and won a gold medal. In addition, he was among the few players to win Finals and gold medals in one summer.
