Kevin Spacey's Dating History Includes Several Actresses
Having been in the spotlight for three decades as one of Hollywood's most famous actors, Kevin Spacey's dating history has become a topic of conversation over the years. Especially after setting the record straight about his sexuality.
Kevin has made a name for himself as an award-winning actor for his performances in films such as "A Time To Kill," "American Beauty," and "The Life Of David Gale." While he has tried to keep his love life out of the public eye, it has proven difficult for such a well-known man.
Over the years, Kevin has been linked to various actresses and denied multiple claims that he was gay following an Esquire article in the 1990s. But in a statement in 2017, Kevin announced that he had romantic relationships with men as well.

April Winchell, the daughter of Paul Winchell, is from New York City with Jewish roots. She followed in her father's footsteps and pursued a career as an actor. However, April chose voice acting for video games and cartoons.
April and Kevin began dating after they graduated from high school. Sparks began to fly between them after they starred alongside each other in the musical production of "Gypsy." April and Kevin had "been together for a while."
In her online diary, she disclosed that they had gotten intimate in the back of her Honda Civic when she was nineteen. Despite going their separate ways, April and Kevin remained friends.

When Dianne Dreyer came into Kevin's life, he had over ten years of acting experience. His leading lady was no stranger to show business either. She worked as a script supervisor, and during their relationship, they worked on multiple movies together, such as "Consenting Adults," "Outbreak," and "Albino Alligator."
Kevin had Dianne on his arm at the 72nd Academy Awards in 2000, where he won the Best Actor award for his performance as Lester Burnham in "American Beauty." With Dianne in the crowd, Kevin took time out of his acceptance speech and said:
"And Dianne, thank you for teaching me about caring about the right things. And I love you."
Kevin and Dianne dated from 1992 until 2000, and they spoke about having children during their time together. However, during an interview, Kevin revealed that he was focused on his career during that time of his life but later realized that having children was "definitely" something he wanted.

Helen Hunt and Kevin played love interests in the 2000 film, "Pay it Forward." Kevin played a teacher whose student, Haley Joel Osment, set him up on a date with his mother, played by Helen. Their rumored relationship followed the summer Helen left her husband, Hank Azaria.
Neither Kevin nor Helen confirmed nor denied their romance. Helen was reported to be "especially cagey," and when asked about her "torrid affair" with Kevin, she said:
"The only shot I have of putting my personal life in order is not to talk about it and to ask people to respect that decision."

Helen revealed that whatever it was she did not want to discuss publicly saw her leaving Los Angeles. The actress said she was "letting go" of Los Angeles and thought it to be the "right time to move."
On the other hand, her "Pay It Forward" co-star dealt with homosexuality claims following the Esquire magazine article and spoke on the "Tonight Show" to clear the air. He told the late-night show host Jay Leno that he had been "horribly misquoted."
Although the nature of Helen and Kevin's relationship is unclear, they were photographed spending time together, and one of their outings included a date to the US Open in 2001.

Kevin's presence on the dating scene remained quiet for years after his alleged relationship with Helen. He made his subsequent relationship with Ashleigh Banfield public when they walked the Emmy red carpet together in 2014. Ashleigh is a journalist with a daytime news program on CNN called "Legal View with Ashleigh Banfield."
They were believed to have met on "House of Cards," where Ashleigh made a cameo as a reporter who interviewed Kevin's onscreen wife, played by Robin Wright. Her acting credits did not stop there. She made a brief appearance on "Breaking Bad" at the beginning of the show's third season.
Jennifer Jason Leigh
Kevin was linked to actress Jennifer Jason Leigh in 2014 as well. Jennifer was born in Los Angeles and came from a family of actors who were of Austrian, Russian, and Jewish origin. Her father was an actor, and her mother was a writer.

Her sister, Carrie Ann Morrow, was an actress, and so is her step-sister, Mina Badie. Jennifer kickstarted her acting career when she was nine and landed her breakout role as the lead actress in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" in 1982. In 2005, she married writer and director Noah Baumbach.
During their marriage, Noah and Jennifer only welcomed one child, their son. They decided to go their separate ways in 2013. Little is known about Jennifer and Kevin's relationship. However, in 2017, Kevin found himself in the hot seat as questions arose again about his sexual orientation.
Numerous men came forward and accused him of sexually inappropriate behavior. One man alleged he had a relationship with Kevin in the 1980s and said Kevin had pictures of Jennifer in his home during that time and spoke of her as his girlfriend.

In October 2017, Kevin addressed the rumors about his sexuality that stretched decades after choosing not to do so in the past. On different occasions, he denied the allegations. But in his statement, he said:
"As those closes to me know, in my life, I have had relationships with both men and women. I have loved and had romantic relationships with men throughout my life, and I choose now to live as a gay man."
Kevin's statement followed allegations from Anthony Rapp that Kevin made inappropriate sexual advances to Anthony when he was a minor. Anthony said he was a teenager when he attended a party at Kevin's home in Manhattan in 1986.
Kevin said he did not recall the events Anthony spoke of in his statement but proceeded to apologize for his "deeply inappropriate drunken behavior." Kevin's choice to live as a "gay man" came after he spent years denying that he was gay.

In 1999, he told The Sunday Times that he was not gay and proceeded to ask the publication why it mattered. He later revealed that he was reluctant to answer questions about the matter honestly because he did not like how they were asked. He said:
"I chose for a long time not to answer these questions because of the manner in which they were asked and because I was never talking to someone I trusted, so why would I?"
Kevin said he avidly believes in privacy, no matter your profession. He has criticized the media for "weaponizing sexuality" and said everyone should respect people's differences. After Kevin Spacey was accused of sexual assault, fans and celebrities were conflicted.
After Kevin publicly came out as gay, fellow actors such as Wanda Sykes were critical of Kevin's statement. They shared their opinions about him glossing over the allegations made against him.
