Has Kristin Davis Had Plastic Surgery Done? Fans Once Speculated about It
Famous actress Kristin Davis recently reprised her role as Charlotte York from the 1998 show and films "Sex and the City" in HBO Max's spinoff series "And Just Like That." When the trailer dropped for the ten-part show, fans noticed a significant difference in Davis's facial appearance.
Kristin Davis has been forthcoming about her struggles with self-image. The actress admitted that she worked hard in an attempt to conform to Hollywood's beauty standards. It was particularly difficult for Davis as she was constantly exposed to reviews about her body in print and online.
Davis also noted how stressful aging was for her, as the media compared her current looks to her much more youthful appearance decades back. The actress felt she didn't get the chance to appreciate how young she was, like an ordinary person.

Seeing that she looked good in a throwback photo wasn't the first thought that came to mind when people analyzed every bit of her physical being. It led her to an unhealthy obsession with exercising and healthy eating, which was only lessened by her career's success and motherhood.
Regardless, Davis observed that the stigma around plastic surgery, or any other form of cosmetic body modification, was gradually lifting. The "And Just Like That" star held no negative opinions about the practice, not even for herself.

What Did Fans Think of Kristin Davis?
Following the release of the "And Just Like That" trailer in November 2021, fans of the original film and the show took to social media to express conflicting opinions and speculations about Kristin Davis's face.
Netizen Hjaypo tweeted his thoughts on the actress's appearance, saying she was "probably still gorgeous." He then remarked on how noticeable her physical transformation was, saying:
"[...] It’s clear to see on the show (trailer) and pics that she went for tons of plastic surgery and I don’t know why women think that looks good."

Other users came to Davis's defense. Claireabella said she forgave Kristin Davis's plastic surgery as the actress would always be her Charlotte York. Malibu Barbie tweeted that anyone who stated that Davis's face "didn't move" was an anti-plastic surgery misogynist.
According to Daily Mail, Facial and Reconstructive Surgeon Michael Somenek shared his expert opinion about Davis's facial appearance, suggesting the actress had gone under the needle. He concluded that Davis's facial work contributed to a "disproportionate look to her face."

What Did Kristin Davis Say about Plastic Surgeries?
In 2018, Kristin Davis opened up to New Beauty regarding how she felt about getting plastic surgery. The actress stated she was afraid of going under the knife and explained that she didn't want to do something that looked bad and then be unable to revert to her original appearance by fixing it.
Davis struggled with Hollywood beauty standards – particularly her weight – and confessed that they still bothered her. She had parts of her body that she wanted to change and looked for ways to do so without undergoing "invasive surgery."

After feeling she looked "too curvy" for a job she did, Davis sought a quick and easy way to reduce her body fat: cool sculpting. She found a doctor in Los Angeles who performed a cool sculpting procedure on her midsection, a process in which body fat is eliminated using cooling technology.
Davis told New Beauty that she didn't find the process painful. By the end of that day, her body had changed, but it had also healed. She wished she had started cool sculpting earlier in life and planned to return for more rounds.
During an interview with AOL, Davis told the outlet that she felt stronger in who she was after going for cosmetic modification. The actress expressed that she had come to terms with people having different opinions about her body; some loved it, while others didn't.

Kristin Davis's Appearance over the Years
While Kristin Davis feels more confident in how she looks today, fans still sulk over the actress's old appearance. Her physical evolution is quite evident, and some fans now find the actress unrecognizable.
Life and Style Magazine curated a photographic timeline of the actress's physical evolution over the years. Before shooting to fame in the 1990s, Davis worked as a yoga instructor and hadn't done any surgeries to alter her body. Throughout the '90s and 2000, Davis mainly appeared in TV shows, including "Melrose Place."
She went on to star alongside Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon in "Sex and the City" and its films and "Bad Teacher." The actress aged naturally during those years, working out and eating healthily. It wasn't until 2018 that the changes to her face and body became progressively distinct.
