He urged his fans to be an undeniable force in pursuing whatever made them happy, despite not getting to choose their future. He encouraged them to never compromise on their happiness. "That's all I got, and I love you. I'll see you." He concluded the video.

Since his family announced the heartbreaking news of his demise, fans have returned to the post in large numbers, paying tribute to his family for the loss and remembering Cormac for the kind and talented person he was.

What Were the Effects of the Cancer On Cormac?

On July 14, he posted an update on his Instagram, noting that the illness had taken away half of his hearing and he had lost 60 pounds.

He shared that the rare cancer, also known as choriocarcinoma, had also taken away his confidence. However, despite the grueling chemotherapy sessions and medications he had to take, the illness had not stolen his love for making music.

He then urged anyone who has cancer or who knows someone with the illness to reach out to him so they could share their journey because it was "an emotional rollercoaster unlike anything else."

Fans will continue celebrating a well-lived life and remember Cormac through his music. His family continues to mourn the loss of the young man they all knew as "irrepressible and joyful and wild and wonderful."
