Lorene Scafaria Is Very Talented and Not Only in Acting

Although she is part Italian, Scafaria was born and raised in Holmdel Township, New Jersey, alongside her parents, Joseph and Gail. Her Italian roots came from her father, an immigrant from Southern Italy.

Born on May 1, 1979, Scafaria showed interest in acting at a young age, even writing and producing her first play at 17. She was educated at Lafayette College, Pennsylvania, but moved to Montclair State University, New Jersey, after a year.

As she grew older, Scafaria found her footing in the entertainment industry. She eventually became a successful actress, screenwriter, playwright, and director, most recognized for the productions "Seeking a Friend for the End of the World," "Coherence," "The Meddler," and "Hustlers."

She Was Once Rumored to Be Ashton Kutcher's Girlfriend

In 2011, Scafaria and fellow actor Ashton Kutcher were rumored to be a couple. However, the "No Strings Attached" star's representative claimed they were nothing more than friends. "They are working on a potential project together about an Italian soccer team," the rep added.

The speculation of their romance came after the duo spent the holidays together and shared a photo on social media a month after Kutcher announced his separation from Demi Moore.

The following year, Scafaria and Kutcher were seen out again with friends at Los Angeles' Ultrazone. The pair looked thrilled to spend the night together and enjoy other's company at that time.

Lorene Scafaria and Bo Burnham Met When He Was 23 and She Was 35

Scafaria has been in a happy relationship with Burnham since 2013, meeting when he was 23 and she was 35. Throughout their romance, Scafaria and Burnham have tried to keep their relationship away from prying eyes, such that very little is known about them.

However, it is no secret that Scafaria is supportive of her partner. During his acceptance speech for the Independent Spirit Award for Best First Screenplay, which he won for "Eighth Grade," Burnham said:

Scafaria and Burnham have a 12-year age gap and over a foot height difference, yet they have made their relationship work for almost a decade. Despite their longtime commitment to each other, neither has announced any marriage plans or engagement celebrations.

During his youth, Bo Burnham aspired to be a comedian, but his dreams only became reality after his YouTube melodies went viral. He later built his career on comedy and did live performances until his five-year hiatus.

In his satirical music-comedy, "Inside," Burnham detailed the reason behind his absence – panic attacks. Burnham's anxiety began in his younger years and worsened in his adult years, especially with the pressures he faces from social media.

His own experiences with the mental health issue, coupled with his opinions, inspired him to write and direct "Eighth Grade," an award-winning film about the toxicity of the digital age.
